My car bumper fell off while I was out at an appointment with my preschooler. We walked into Shore Automotive (which was close by) looking for help. They were very accommodating and was able to fit me into their busy schedule. One of the mechanics walked back to the car with us, taped up the bumper and drove the car back to the premises to fix properly. The car was ready within a couple of hours. I really appreciated the excellent customer service.

Excellent service, over the phone quote, booked in and text received when ready to pick up, hours before I was expecting it to be ready. Team was helpful, friendly and professional, I will be coming back here.

Thought I’ve give these guys a go for a wof other then my regular mechanic I’ve had for years. Had no issues with my car as it’s been dormant in a shed since previous wof that I put a bit of money into.suddenly there is a big list. I didn’t realise different mechanics have completely different standards.

Great team, very professional, checked in before doing the work needed and completed work to a very high standard.

The boot of my car stopped locking and I called around to many other mechanics who didn't want to give me a quote for an assessment, which made me pretty nervous to just go ahead and book it in! Shore Automotive were great. They gave me the cost for a 30-45min assessment so I knew what to expect. Once they found the problem they called me to give me an updated quote see if I would like them to fix the problem before they put everything back together. The cost was very reasonable and came in 10% under quote. All done in a few hours. Great service thanks.

Servicing and WoF. Part around the oil filter had issues and drained oil out all around Auckland. They sorted a pickup and found the faulty part and fixed all with no extra charge.even came round to clean up the oil on the drive and roads around the house. Great communication throughout. Going the extra mile. Cheers guys.

Shore Automotive has been servicing my car for several years now. I recently had a WOF and service done and what I really appreciate from them is they always phone me and let me know in advance what needs doing. They tell me what has to be done, what the cost of that will be and what is coming up and will keep that car running optimally, what the costs will be and then give me the option of what I want to go ahead with. As a female not knowing a lot about cars I feel like I can trust them and they are not just doing work I don’t need. On top of that they are always friendly and easy to deal with, I will continue to keep using them and would recommend them to others.

I chose this workshop because of the high and positive rates. But for my personal experience, the workshop should not get that high rate. I regret that I did not read all the comment to this workshop. Some customers also experienced the same problems. I went to do a fullservice and a wof check, they gave me a full list of what needs to be repaired, which I think it's impossible. Have asked them to just give me a list of what really needs to do, but nothing changed. In addition, it seems like they asked other customers almost the same things. Will not return indeed. If you want to do WOF check, just go to VTNZ. Don't trust the free WOF check, at the end you pay more than that.
Other than that, they are polite and easy to deal with. So, give 2 starts.

I went there yesterday to get my AC repair and they fixed it up within 30 mins. Very friendly and good pricing. They also let me know what was the problem as well. Would recommend!

Great service I'm very happy with they sorted my car c out it's the only mechanics I've been to that I didn't check the bills I think 3 this year totalling about $3000 plus and I felt very comfortable secure about the whole job

Excellent service and wonderful friendly team. First time using Shore Automotive for a Pre-Purchase Inspection check. They accommodated me at short notice, took time to explain the issues, good pricing and were just really lovely to deal with. Highly recommend.

The team is always helpful and I have no issues with recommending them to others. Always professional and will check with you before going ahead with any repairs. They also offer a courtesy car which is convenient when dropping your car off so solid service all-round!

Dan and his staff are always knowledgeable, trustworthy, skilled and help me prioritise according to my budget and they have a loan vehicle if I need one. I have been going to them for 9 years now. They have rescued me a couple of times when I have had a flat battery and went above and beyond when I had an accident. Pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend them and I have referred all my friends.

Got my aircon re-gassed and am very happy with the job. Everyone else was to busy and quoted through the roof. These guys booked me in promptly competed the job and charged a fair price. One very happy customer.

I don't often feel compelled to write a review but I just want to share my experience for anyone looking for a reliable, pragmatic and trustworthy mechanic. Dan and the team are amazing and have often gone well over and above. These guys really know what they are doing.

They were taking care of my Golf for the past 5 years and my car runs just fine.

Service, cam belt, radiator, gasket, tires, breaks, coolant, hoses, door repair, wof, bearing, you name it,

all done perfectly right, in time and without costing a fortune.
