Useless, not accomodating at all after explained them had some family urgency. There contact centre booked 4 hours for appointment and was late by an hour and the guy acknowledged it doesn’t take 4 hours for replacing the windscreen. The other guys said it’s safe to drive despite the windscreen getting bigger crack.

Friendly and approachable. Was able to do a chip while I waited. No hassle parking. Was on the road in 30min. Thanks

Doesn't have knowledge of new car models glasses. Should employ a quality controller to verify right glasses for right cars

My windscreen needed replacing due to a stone cracking it. I organized for an appointment with Smith and Smith, which required waiting 3 weeks. On the day, I turned up and they told me my appointment had been canceled. No one had the courtesy to inform me of this prior to me arriving. I rearranged an appointment, which required waiting a further 3.5 weeks because they needed to reorder the glass. I phoned the day before my appointment to check they did have the glass. They told me my appointment had been canceled again, without my knowledge. They gave two completely different reasons for this. They reinstated the appointment after I spent hours on the phone with them and my insurer. I dropped my car off on the day of the appointment and took a rideshare to work. They then called to tell me they didn't have the glass. I spent more hours on the phone. Eventually they told me i would have to wait 2 to 3 months for glass to be shipped. They promised their customer service would be in touch to refund my rideshare costs, but they have not. I have sent further messages, but they are unanswered.
All said: my car was not repaired AND they cost me $55.82 in unnecessary rideshare costs. No one has apologised or rectified this situation. It has been a very stressful experience and has cost me a lot of valuable time.

When I call up for windscreen quotes they are always so helpful and polite, and sometimes it’s good to have a laugh with them

This is the second time I had a chipped windscreen of my Merc while touring North Island with my family visiting from overseas. The last time I had repaired my screen with Novice. Must post with all the experience, expertise, marketing and hype about 'Smith & Smith' their work was way below my expectations as the repair resin is turbid / not clear and the repair is very obvious and prominent to the naked eye.would prefer Novice Glass to Smith & Smith.

The guys did a fantastic job fixing my rear view mirror which had detached from the windshield after I had a tyre blowout. Friendly and great service. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Good experience with the Penrose Team. Front windscreen replaced on my Jeep. Friendly and professional to deal with. They were happy to work with me and have my vehicle stored overnight to suit my work timing. Good Job, pleased with the quality of install, I will happily use these guys again.

Disappointed in service. 0800 number never answered. Staff not concermed that it was late & dark and that I had to walk back to pick my car up after I returned a borrowed one to find out what was going on Text service didn't service work.

Went in last minute to get my courier van windshield replaced, the boys were super helpful and even finished the job way earlier than expected!

My car was broken into in Takanini and the rear quarter glass was smashed. My insurance booked through Smith and Smith and while I couldn't get a booking for two weeks - it was worth the wait for the service. I dropped my car off as booked 8.30am and received a text to collect at 9.05am, the glass is tinted to match the rest of the car and looks amazing. So happy with the speed and quality of the service, easiest process I've had. Thank you very much.

Wiper scam. Don't fall for it.

Took my car in for a typical insurance job, big chip and crack on the windsheild.
The guy was super friendly and helpful, but seemed more interested in my wipers. I was needing a rear wiper, after seeing their extensive display of premium wipers and getting the whole speel on how good their wipers are and why I should use theirs instead of my usual preference - I decied to get all the wipers done.

Realised for $150, I got some cheap refils.instead of the implyed wiper blades and arms (Tridon flexi range).

Took it back, to their embarrasment they gave me proper rear wiper arm and blade. The front arms looked old and so they had them replaced - they actaully flex now, so I'm doubtful they changed all of that.

In summary, the wipers scam they are running probably get most drivers as you assume you'd be getting the nice range of wiper arms and blades and not being priced gouged for some wiper blades.

I had a booking that I'd been waiting 2 weeks for. I spoke to the office the day before to confirm the time 8am Sat. I had a poor start to Sat, flat battery. I called to say I'd be 40m late. Arrived only to be told they didn't have the window and no couriers on a Sat? !? Why not tell me sooner than at the door. Left the car, no news a week later.

Not happy with their communication. Booked in for a side window replacement only to turn up on day of booking to find out that the glass they ordered has been damaged. No phone call or text msg after waiting 2 weeks to now waiting another 2 weeks.

Very helpful and professional. It didn’t take that long than other branch. There is a waiting room with free wifi. Water is available as well!

Friendly staff with genuine smiles behind their masks. Super fast service recommend them to anyone.
