Bit of a joke! Booked in a 1015 appointment, arrived 5min early, it's now 1135 and my 40min appointment is still 15min away from completion! No one had the good manners to inform me my appointment would be late, I've had to initiate any interaction to get an update.
Hopefully the workmanship is better than the service.
As I sit waiting, I over hear that they have been running late since taking on addiinal work earlier, so they knew I would be late! And yet they didn't feel that my time was worth letting me know!

Replaced my coupes windscreen all in 50 minutes and vacuumed all the glass out of my car. Ended up being late to pick car up but nonetheless they did a very professional job. Also while during level 4

Arrived to replace my quarter glass on passenger side but disappointed to find out that it was the wrong shape. (made for sedan not hatchback) I didn't quite understand how they could get that wrong as they have my registration number & l have been a customer of Smith & Smith Glass four times, same car & glass.
Besides that, they managed to order a replacement and install same day. The receptionist was very polite
& apologetic, the technician Tariq has done an immaculate job on my vehicle, l have nothing but praises for them both!

Had a small side window repaired. When I called to make an appointment they were super friendly and very accommodating. He was able to get me an appointment within 48 hours which I was grateful for.

When I dropped the car off they had the wrong part so initially told me that I would need to make another appointment and in the meantime they would fit temporary glass for me; though when I picked up the car they told me they managed to find the correct part and were able to fit it.

However I will say that when they called to tell me it was ready, they mentioned my wipers needed replacing and could do it for free - yet when I picked up the car they charged me an extra $40 for it, on top of the $400+ I had paid already. Disappointed and feel scammed and unfortunately for this reason I will not be returning.

Was booked in for a windscreen replacement. I arrived at my appointment only to be told that they didn't have the screen because they thought I would only need a chip repair.but my appointment stated otherwise. One member of staff was very rude so I took my business elsewhere.

So turned up to get a my right rear window replaced. Wrong glass.completely the wrong glass. What a joke.it costs money to leave work and go and sort this stuff so now I'm out of pocket as well. So now need to wait 2 weeks to get this sorted again.and book in a mobil glass installer.

So picking up from last time aaaaveeerage.the lady that took the measurements from the first visit. Guess what got it wrong again? And today i was expecting it to get it fixed after a long wait time. Completely the wrong window (again). I don't understand how you can order the wrong window when you physically look at it measure it and write it down. The only good thing I can say is the installer who turned up was top notch in regards to being professional and polite.

We had a windshield replaced in our Suzuki Swift. Because of emergency braking and cruise control camera calibration they said that they would need the car all day. We were thrilled to receive a call at 10: 30am to say it was all done and ready for collection. Great service.

I arrived late due to an emergency at work and they were amazing. Not only did they fit in my replacement, they were quick, friendly and fitted wiper blades while the glue was drying.
I don't intend on breaking my windscreen any time soon but I know I will definitely be back here if i do.

I dont recommend this branch of Smith n Smith. Service person told BS - gave me certificate to show to testing station so I could get a warrant which is due next year - total BS. Didn't fix the chip. My insurance company made it happen after I complained. Got fixed at another location.

I booked for a monday and they rescheduled it which was fine because they had good communication and they let me know quick and then i missed my appointment time but they managed to get me in on the same day i missed it and do the job great service and great technician he didnt even have to come out and look at my van and take photos he knew straight away

I had a windscreen and two side windows that needed to be replaced - Smith and Smith Penrose is the closest location to me (albeit quite far away), and I booked in for here.

Unfortunately it's been a terrible experience altogether. First, the side quarter window they had ordered was the wrong part - it had the wrong colour border for my car model.

When the windscreen was actually replaced, the lane departure system was not working properly and had to go back to have it re-calibrated a further 3 times. I also noticed after the last time that the plastic cover over the sensor was not on properly and the mirror itself was not fully screwed into the windscreen - I had to remove the cover and tighten the screw due to the whole mirror shaking.

The side quarter window was replaced without a hitch, but the rear side passenger window was making clunking noises in operation and rattling during driving.

I decided Smith and Smith Penrose wasn't up to the task, so booked in for a fix at Smith and Smith Wairau park. They fixed the issue in 90 mins - turns out it was a loose bolt. Seems Smith and Smith Penrose doesn't know how to tighten fasteners.

I would not trust Smith and Smith Penrose with my car again - neither should you.

Changed front windscreen and after few days on board computer showed hybrit system melfunction. Went to Toyota to check what's happening and after diagnostics they discovered that front windscreen leaking badly and causing short surcut. They found extensive amount of water inside under dash board. I have called customer service advising I need urgent help to fix the issue to stop further damage. Only appointment available was next week. I have asked to escalate the issue to management or admin and they promise to call me back but no one came back. Have to call again and again. Have to book appointment earlier in another branch to sort it out still have to wait 5 days. Leaks casing damages inside to carpet and equipment. Looks like will cost a lot to fix: (Disappointing service. Have to go back to Toyota once they will put new windscreen to do repairs. What a waste of time for everyone. Hopefully they can put something in place to improve service and the way they dealing with issues.

The guys that work there are great. They even fixed my jammed boot that got stuck after the glass broke. Job was done in 2 hours. Highly recommended business!

The technician was there before the shop opening time. Courteous and professional manner. The job was completed on time, the replacement windshield is the same high quality as the original. Unfortunately on driving on the motorway the next day the windshield trim came loose requiring another trip to the branch where sealant was required for both sides. Once home I needed to remove extra sealant trails from the door and roof panels where the calking gun leaked half a meter from the repaired trim. It is a shame the replacement wasn’t checked before I picked it up the first time.

Took my mitsi in for a window replacement, service was great, staff were great, very happy with result and the lollies in the cup holder on retrieval was a nice surprise. Could not fault the staff on anything:)

I was initially frustrated as showed up for appointment to be told that it is less than ideal to have a repair when it is wet. However they were very professional and friendly and did a good job.
