Appalling service and quality. Would never go back! The service was terrible, appointment times double what was quoted and the vehicle left with an additional scratch on the windscreen due to their incompetence! Avoid at all costs!

Stood at the door in full view of the staff trying to get someone's attention but they did not seem to want to come help. Waited 20mins until I had enough and walked inside to go ask someone for help just to be told off for coming inside the workshop. Very poor customer experience. Do not recommended Smith and Smith Glenfield, however I have had very good service from other Smith and Smith locations.

Poor workmanship, found glue on car's hood+ shattered glass pieces on floor mat. Later found rear view mirror was wobbly.
Something major to report, came to my attention at later stage.
#They replaced my 2020 Rav4 with after market front windscreen, without providing any info.
#Did recaliberation at the same time of windscreen replacement, found lane keep+ follow assist was not what it was used to. Reported this to Smith&Smith who asked to bring the car for checking but showed zero error and said everything was working as it should. But I was not satisfied with this report, took car to Toyota service centre who found windscreen camera was not aligned properly and charged me $250.
Now Smith&Smith is going to replace my windscreen with Genuine one form Toyota but recaliberation will be done from Toyota. All costs will be covered by Smith&Smith.

Really hard to find and useless staff. I went in especially to find out what glass I needed. They told me the wrong type of glass. And then ordered in the wrong screen. When I arrived on the day they wanted me to wait around until the got in some more.not good, not pleased.

How to find: the entrance is through a small side road called “currys road”

Good service and my repair took as long as they said it would. It’s a little hard to find this place as you have to go down a small side road and then behind other buildings but that’s not much of an issue. The waiting room was dark though as the lights weren’t on.

A dishonest company, damaged our vehicle while getting fixed. However won't admit it was them or cover the costs.
So disappointed, as we have used smith and smith before at other locations and have had no problems: (

This company seems to be a joke! Booked an appointment, got email and txt confirmation - went to the North Shore Branch and they told me I don’t have any appointments booked. Sent e-mails - no response at all. What a waste of time! Novus did awesome work for me.

This company seems to be a joke.
Went in twice already but they still unable to supply the correct windscreen for replacement. Time wasting and the customer service is the worst that you can get.
First time when I went in they remove all the trims and found the windscreen they order is wrong. They said they will check and get the correct windscreen.
Check photos attached, they just left all the dirt and fingerprint marks on the car. Car was stored in storage and was all clean. Clearly the workmanship standard is low as they don't even know how to take care of customer car.
Went in the 2nd time which they found the one they order is wrong again.
Everytime you will hear the same story 'sorry we got the wrong windscreen and the call centre will call you back in 5 mins to rebook you in'
Call back after 4 hours and start having a problem when I told them the windscreen needs to from OEM even their technican was telling me that.
Poor communication inside the company and the worst customer service I have ever deal with.

Highly NOT recommended! DONT USE THIS COMPANY
Bought our business ford ranger in for front windscreen replacement. They took photos of the front windscreen area when we arrived with the ford ranger.
When arrived for pick up we inspected the job and found there was a dent on the roof just above the windscreen. This still had a paint fleck where the scratch/dent was. When addressing this with the lady on reception she said I will get a technician to look. As we were waiting outside we could hear them talking about it being a new dent. The technician just said "oh Sh**". The lady when coming back over confirmed this can sometimes happen with there tools.
When asking for the orignal photos they told us they couldnt locate them. We ended up leaving with the receptionist stating the manager would be in contact to get this all sorted.
Waited over a week, and finally gave up and called them ourselves. Only to be told that this incident never happened there, and our vehicle already had the dent. This was so frustrating, such a dishonest company to deal with. I will never take anything back there, nor will our company, and reccommend no one else ever risks doing so.

The team here are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Granted my insurance paid for the job, but having experienced the service for free I would happily go back as a paying customer.

Repaired my windscreen while I had breakfast down the road, on my way into work. Work was to the required standard and the staff friendly.

I found it had to access as the entrance is on Currys road, not the street address. Also beware that the place is open at 8 but they don't answer the phone till 9, so you cant phone to ask them how to drive to the premises or for any other reason.

Awful customer service. Was told that my car would be ready for pick up and I even checked with the branch by calling them up half hour before pick up was supposed to happen. When I turned up to get my car, I was told it wasn’t ready and they had ordered the incorrect screen. Not received any correspondence from the branch about when my car will actually be ready and had to chase them a number times. Spoke to a manager and they don’t seem to care about anything and just blame everyone except themselves. Disappointing overall experience and wouldn’t recommend.

Terrible customer service, what is a point of getting a appointment and wasting customer's time when u cant fix it. Handover the work vehicle in morning, and said it will be repaired before 12pm and when i went there i asked what happen, guy on the reception was very mean, said the part (glass) is broken so cant fix it, terrible customer service, not happy mate, very unprofessional.

After getting advice that our car windscreen DEFINITELY needed replacing we asked about the cost because we have an excess. (The stone damage was repaired about a year previous.) They would NOT give us a quote! Then they said $500 excess and five minutes later said it was $600 when we suggested a genuine brand replacement! We cancelled the job and went to N. Glass Co. One of their experts said it did not need replacing at all and the small 4mm fracture would go no further because it was only in one layer of the laminated glass and the previous repair would 'hold'.
Probably won't go back to Smith and Smith again.

If I could give a zero I would. Glenfield branch. Absolutely disgusted with the service. Nothing was easy. Terrible experience making an appointment. Windscreen replacement was a botched job. No quality control. Paintwork scratched. Call centre staff have no idea what they are doing. Hopeless. After 20 years of advocating for these people I would strongly discourage anyone to use Smith & Smith. Never again. Now I only hope that I can finally have this windscreen job redone properly as promised.

I am disappointed I had bought my car in today as I had it quoted 99 dollars for a small chip in my windscreen Yesturday. Now my mum took it today to have it repaired she said while she was waiting she was told I had to NOW pay 700 dollars to replace the whole screen! Reason being because the guy who was working on it cracked the chip even more. Im fighting this as to why i am paying 700 dollars for something I didn't do he clearly told my mum that the way the chip was it will not crack my windscreen but Boom there we have it's all craked now and I was told it's 700 dollars to replace the WHOLE WINDSCREEN! I do not recommend them what a rip off! I then called in myself even the person I was talking on the phone I found rude he said no matter what would I had still have to pay to replace the whole windscreen I wasn't told that when it was quoted Yesturday I was told it'll be 99dollars for the chip on the windscreen. Now I'll like to know why the man who was working on my chipped screen is not paying for It! He made it worse! And I am not HAPPY!

Smith & Smith did a excellent job in accommodating the fixing of a bad crack on my windscreen. I also had to get a warrant in 5 days so the job was rushed through. The technician Steve Chappell did a first class job.

Very bad service. Got us the wrong windscreen and asked us to pick up the car and wait til they order the right windscreen. Its been over a month and havent heard from them. Everytime i call them they say someone will call me back and they never do. Very disappointing service. Very unreliable.

Picked up a nasty chip on my screen and took my car in to S&S on spec. They said they could fix it with the specialist treatment they do and asked if I minded waiting. 40 minutes later all done with barely a hint of where the chip had been. Very pleased. Quick, professional service. Both my wife and I use their services when needed. Recommended!
