We had no booking and yet the staff were accommodating.

My experience here was not great. We went this place for birthday lunch. We sat outside but quite loud around our table. It was hard to talk even we were sitting on the same table.
One of the waiters were very helpful. Food, it was ok. Not exceptional. They charge credit card fee also.

Being vegetarian options were limited but really loved the atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Would really recommend Green goddess salad. It was amazing.

Had a fantastic team dinner on our visit to Auckland! We were maybe slightly underdressed in casual, most were dressed up. The place was buzzing, food was fabulous, seafood and other produce was spectacular. We all had a good time and would return.

My best friend and I have been coming here for 25 years and it has always exceeded expectations. Food, service and atmosphere are always awesome. Visit and see for yourself. Xoxo

No matter how many times you have been or how much you have spent there they decide if you can return, staff have a problem with being tipped and treated well, its a kiwi thing, no respect for long term regulars! Will go elsewhere till they apologize for the slight!

Erik was an amazing host coming in for our sisters 22nd birthday, will definitely look into coming in again for a drink. 10/10

Went for Anniversary Dinner on 24/12/21. It was surprise for me, my husband told them while booking table that it was our anniversary. Waiter did not acknowledge about our special day got a normal table where as they have got nice view table was available (not reserve). Receptionist told my husband while booking table that he needed to leave by 9pm as they close and surprisingly lot of people came after 8: 30pm.
Food was good. When it comes to the bill waiter himself asked for the gratuity without fail but fail to acknowledge our special day.

Great food and service, highly recommended.

The blackened prawn appetiser was perfectly cooked, along with the market fish that was pan fried and finished in the oven.

The beef short rib ragu was great and seemed popular with other diners.

Modern & sophisticated place, ambience is really nice, quite easy to get packed too.
Salted pepper calamari tastes so good, must have. Breads quite too hard for our liking. Didn't like much my main of crayfish capellini, too much sauce that makes it soggy far from being tasty too. Cocktail drinks quite refreshing on a very hot sunny day, we specially like the lychee one.

Many good experiences visiting over the years. Love coming for the oysters. Great for special occasions.

The atmosphere is quite nice. Packed with many people. Food is quite good, service is excellent. Everything is quite enjoyable.

Really great lunch. The customer service is excellent, the waiters/waitresses are very attentive, friendly and professional. Soul was fully packed, yet the food still arrived extremely fast. The quality of the food was amazing, and everything was prepared very well. Will definitely be back in the future, thank you for a great birthday lunch.

Also had a dozen oysters which I forgot to take photos of. Food is always great, good customer service, beautiful atmosphere.

We've recently had two lunches here - one with a big group and one as a couple. I cannot say enough good things about the experience both times. This must be one of the finest examples of a long-term restaurant that just continues to excel. The food is great value with good portion sizes. The wine menu is extensive. The service is always exceptional. We had a wonderful waiter called Mike last time who just excelled and is a great personality. The venue is wonderful overlooking the viaduct. Honestly we cannot say enough. We will definitely go back.

Soul is one of our favourite places in CBD. The staff are always so welcoming, with and without a reservation, and even when they are busy they are able to personalize our experience.

And the food is AMAZING. Honestly, we've tried several things on the menu and each time it has been fantastic. Always a pleasure.

Amazing Italian night tonight for the restaurant month, staff and chefs were extraordinary such a great experience!

The location of the restaurant is great, the layout and design are very good. The scenery is beautiful and the restaurant layout is very comfortable. The waiter greeted us very kindly, introduced and recommended meals for us, the meals were delicious, and it is a good restaurant worth recommending!

Consistently one of Auckland’s top ten restaurants. Efficient service, great menu full of classics and lovely setting on the terrace under the floral hanging baskets.
