Spotlight Sylvia Park

Being in a wheelchair I wented to use a basket from pack n save to help me carry my shop to the car when I got told that they are not allowed out of the store. Okay I should have brought my bag but I forgot.now how is Pack n Save allowed to leave a heap of trollies in the disabled car parks for any amount of time.check the camera on the 25/1 approx. 1150hrs as we had to park up on another level.and I can't borrow a basket to carry my shop to the car.

Also the TENS kisok they need to be qualified with some form of qualification if they are trying to help people with physical injuries and or other medical conditions, being told that they CAN cure my pain is totally against the medicines act in New Zealand. Please check the laws before you try and sell medical devices.

Good selection but high prices - you pay for the convenience. Recently redid the fabric section and it is so much better. Staff seem down, like they don't like being there. Very rarely is there someone available to help, and if there is, they are usually unable to give advice or suggestions.

Good variety and selection of party, homeware diy and craft goods sadly very expensive for what you are getting and allot of the premade items are far cheaper than the material to make that same item.
However if you need somthing in a pinch and dont mind the price for the convenience it's a great place to go.

Great wide range if art and craft gifting and house hold daily use items.
Good knitting variety store.
Great place to buy tailoring materials.
Hobby sites and party items available in store.
Small range if kitchen utensils available.
Great staff with good knowledge. Ample parking space wheel chair access.
Keep up store.

Dont go 10mins before it closes if you work full time and struggle to get to them they will not be shy about herding you out or not letting you have something that prevents them getting out on the dot. Might be a bigger picture than them getting out
. Maybe they dint get paid staying longer.

They have lots and lots of material to pick from. Even have sewing machines at a very decent price. Every housewifes dream store.

What I enjoy with this particular spotlight store is that it's across the road from Sylvia Park, so it's busy but not super busy. There is enough parking available aswell

I visited Spotlight to purchase some blinds. When I asked for help, I was given it obligingly. The prices were good. Overall the experience was good and easy.

Layout of the store is hard to find things. Overall quite messy and lacking compared to other spotlights, especially considering it is the only one in the area.

Always find what I am looking for in minute! Don't forget to wave your Gold card. The staff are not allowed to ask if you have one, but happy to give appropriate discount if you ask.

Was looking for a cheap option for curtains for daughter's bedroom. MARY was so helpful, patient and obliging right up to the very last minute. Never felt we were being rushed even though it was 15 mins to closing time, she even cut our fabric into individual lengths to save hassle at home. Superstar Mary thank you!

Plenty of arts and crafts, and it looked like some very nice discounts on a lot of products, just couldn't find the one I was looking for

I rang Spotlight Sylvia Park as I was looking for a item i was told they would be the best place to try.
