Spotlight Wairau Park reviews
58Not alot of choice this visit but better than Briscoes. However staff at Briscoes Wairau awesome
Staff don't smile and they made me feel like they were doing g me a favor serving me. And
Thank you for Suzie the nice and friendly spotlight staff at Wairau, Also so many thank to Nicole assistance me to find out curtains size i need, she is friendly, smart and so helpful. Both of you are 5 stars staff.
Packed shelves with everything from bedding to art supplies.and funny enough I went there to check out both. Lots of sales going on too so you feel like you'll get a deal. The only things that made it a kind of hard shopping experience though was there being so much stuff that's both on shelves and like between aisles that it made it harder to find specific things you're looking for. And, unfortunately nothing they can likely do about it, there's basically zero cell phone reception in the store so I had to walk outside to get enough signal to look up a thing I was trying to find in the store.
Nice range of products: blinds, table and bed cover sheets, xmas decoration sewing stuff, rolls of clothes.like there
Didn't have what I wanted after checking online that it was in store. Frustrating trip. To top that, I then ordered online from home as click and collect - took my order and my money then 24hours later got a email to say 3 out 4 items were not available and they had refunded my money. Spent 18 minutes waiting on the phone to cancel my 1 other item.
Extremely helpful and happy staff member which went out of his way to help me couldn't be more pleased and happy- complete sarcasm useless service!
Might have been just when I visited, but the staff member wasn't very friendly or helpful.
They do have nice items, but it would be good if the website showed when an item is out of stock online BEFORE you have to click on everything separately
Called in for a Click n Collect & I’m so impressed that one of my favourite stores are just carryin’ on doin’ it! Thanks!
All packed full of stuff. One of the first places I go when I come up with an idea to make something
Miserable staff who treat their customers abysmally. Caught one of them threatening my daughter, who is 7, for ‘thinking about stealing’ as she dared to look at Christmas decorations. Despite numerous attempts to speak to the company about this incident, no one wants to front. Emails and phone messages have been ignored. No wonder why this shop is always so empty.
The staff at Spotlight Wairau Park have been so helpful and polite during this lockdown. I cannot thank Jo enough for her kindness and efforts to help her customers. I have had a few click and collect orders, and everytime I see her, she is friendly, helpful and always smiling. THANK YOU JO. We are all suffering Covid fatigue, but to witness Jo being verbally abused by a customer was very upsetting. THANK YOU SPOTLIGHT WAIRAU PARK FOR THE AMAZING JOB YOU HAVE BEEN DOING
Great size store however only one Disabled Parking Bay outside the store. Was very busy but also has a kinda small carpark but easy access from Motorway
Staff won't act like they care until you give them attitude back. I was returning something I had gotten from another Spotlight store today (where the staff were much nicer).
Would prefer if staff didn't talk in a condescending tone/look like they don't want to help
Ordered a product twice. Both times the orders were refunded and the item went out of stock both times almost right after purchasing the item. Extremely unreasonable to expect a customer to wait so long for a refund or even allow the order (s) to be paid for if you are not able to fulfill the order. Absolutely shocking. Called right after ordering to make sure that the store completes my order immediately - customer service sent them emails and everything. They still had one in stock. No response until just after 3 PM in the afternoon where they attempted to phone me and then issued another bloody refund. If I could give negatives stars I would
Been there on numerous occasions and found that the staff working at the upholstery and curtain section are so unfriendly.
I usually go to Sylvia park Spotlight. But I had to go to the Wairau park spotlight last week and there was no one at the baloon counter to help us. After about 20minutes a woman named Joy came and she was in such a hurry and was so rude to us. I have never come across such rude sales personnel in NZ. She was not helpful at all and I ordered the baloons but left the store feeling really bad, hurt and angry. Will never visit that store again. Spotlight Sylvia park is so much better. I love going there.
Well this place is huge and well stocked with a good variety of things we were very happy with this store compared to the spotlight stoe we have back home
Initial glitch solved by the wonderful team consisting of Jo, Kaylen and Fran. Fantastic service.great job. Will definitely be back.
Every time I buy something at spotlight and this has happened 3 times the price on the bin its in.which is clearly stated has been increased by the time I go down to checkout. I buy it as there is always a line at the checkout but I question it and it's not clarified that's the price I am told I will never go to that spotlight again.
