We are tenants of a property that is managed by Staircase Property Management. We've found that they are rude, impersonal, condescending and terrible at property management.

In the time that we've been here (10 months) we've gone through 3 property managers, haven't had issues repaired, and have only had 2 inspections. After this house was trashed by the previous tenants (carpet replaced, the place repainted, cleaners in x3 times) I would have thought they'd be a bit more careful this time. They also never called our referees and never did a credit check.

As landlords ourselves, we would never want our tenants treated like this, and our house to be so neglected, and would absolutely never use Staircase Property Management as it is a terrible experience.

At first I was very pleased with the service and how flexible my property manager Jordyn was, nothing was a problem and made the move all very simple! Unfortunately she has left and ive been through multiple new property managers since. I have had no inspections over the last 9 months of living here. I had my air conditioning fail and it took a long time for me to even get a hold who my property manager was to have fixed. I have had no water bills for 6 months then recieved a 14 day payment notice with no contact prior, which i paid as soon as recieved. I pay on time, everytime. I've filled out a tenancy change form for a previous tennant to leave that has no been completed since July and have only just found out. The serious lack of communication and inspections or care to this property is a serious concern to me. I would only recommend if customer service and care is not of great concern to you. Understandably covid has been rather difficult for all, however to uphold contact with a tennant seems to me something that should be subsided. I hope this company can organize thier service better for the next.

We have been very fortunate to have Lisa Maxwell as a property manager. She has made our transition of moving house so much easier and has kept in mind the needs and suitability our family required to live comfortably in a new home. Very grateful for her assistance I wish there were more property managers like her around.
