Stamford plaza has exceptional customer service. Our parents needed something and they made it happen instantly. Incredibly kind customer service team. Thanks so much!
Regarding the rooms everything sounds like it is great.

Currently here in MIQ with children and I am very impressed at how friendly and accommodating the staff are, and the food is healthy and delicious. We feel very lucky.

I stayed for 14 days and each day the staff were pleasant, friendly. The manager and Kitchen staff are great. Thank you all for your great service. Returnee room 614:)

Quite disgusted after reading how how yous let the viterbos business die due to changing your hotel into a isolation station yous should be ashamed intermingling with there staff by using there staff and also that money is the most important thing to yous and not the customer no thank you would not reccomend this place to the New Zealand society as the most important thing to them is money and not the well being of there staff or customer

Had a good stay here during 14 day quarantine.

The best part is that they have exercise areas on the property, so you don’t have to ride a bus anywhere.

I've been here for 14 days quarantine. I have to say, from the minute I stepped off the bus. Everyone was so polite, very helpful. Explained every step of the process. Then came the meals, just wonderful 5 star plus meals. The staff very professional. Every step was followed by protocols and safety procedures. A huge thank you for making this frustrating stay so enjoyable.

I would like to Thank Stamford Hotel and the staff for the great service and stay during the 14 days we spent for quarantine.
A special thanks with respect to all nurses, police, security, and national defence and any member who sacrificed his or her self to keep the country safe and made us feel as one team with love and awareness to get through this pandemic.

A big thank you to Stamford Plaza Hotel for a beautiful stay during my 14 day quarantine. To the military, security and police who look scary but are compassionate and understanding. To the staff who go the extra step to make us comfortable on a daily basis. To James and Alicia the kindest and helpful nurses I have ever met. And to the chef who made the most exquisite meals. This is absolutely a 5 star hotel in every way and when Covid is over i will definitely be back to Stamford Plaza.

The room was fantastic and it was always a pleasure to receive your brown bag with your food inside. Thank you for each and every individual that committed themselves at the Manage Isolation and Quarantine facility, Team Stamford, Team Health and Security and the National Defense Force and the rest of the role players involved.

Located in a convenient location, but guests will experience super slow wifi and the hotel manager do NOT care whether or not guests are happy staying, even if being happier helps improve their stay. We have been sending messages and complaints but NEVER recieved a feedback from the duty manager At all.

Decent hotel. Rooms a little dated but still nice and quite spacious. Found the staff friendly and helpful when required.

Decided to book the Stamford hotel as it was our last stay during our honeymoon. Having being loyal to the brand in Australia I was expecting the same level of service.

Firstly the room was nice and of a high standard for the price point. Comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom.

Service was subpar. The room was provided with a pillow menu. Housekeeping was busy and was transferred through to reception. I wanted to order what was being offered and reception laughed and said they could only bring normal pillows, not specific to the menu provided. Reception reassured they would contact housekeeping and have the items sent up. I waited over 90 mins then gave up. I was then called by reception at 10: 15pm for a flow up on whether the pillows had been delivered. Thiswas quite late and consequently woke up my wife.

Lastly, upon checkout. Granted it was early in the morning. Reception staff werent overly friendly or accommodating in offering a taxi.

Disappointing experience as I received better service from Four Points for a fraction of the cost.

Would consider booking elsewhere when visiting Auckland next.

Amazing hotel - staff were friendly and facilities were great. Their gym and pool facilities in particular, they have free weights, cardio, strength machines and cables. Pretty decent buffet breakfast as well.

The toilet and bathroom locks don't work very well.
Food was cold when we ordered room service and OMG those bedside lights, they were filthy and full of dust.

I stayed on 2 June 2019 and was charged $100 as deposit. By now on 12 June 2019 I still haven't got it back.

Called three times, first staff said money will come back within 3-5 days.

Second time staff said will come back within 5-7 days.

Third time they said they forgot to refund my money, so they would do it and I will be able to receive it shortly. However nothing happened.

I don't know when I can get my deposit back. Lucky I am in NZ so I can call.

Also they charged $8 on top of the $100 for a bottle of water. Be careful everything in the room is chargable.

Also I saw dust all the room, dirty on the floor. I actually did a cleaning when I stayed there. Also the overall environment on Albert Street is like a construction site.

Be careful about your money if you stay.

-After contacting the manager, this issue was resolved on 15.06.19.

Very nice venue. Easy to just sit and chat and drink cocktails. They do theme dinners which are good fun. Good service by competent staff.
