What a great dining experience. We didn't have a booking but was still accommodated during a busy service. Food was excellent. The service and customer service was impeccable. Have to go back to try out the chowder, an dcx will recommend the platter!

One of the kids wanted to go for their birthday, I'm vegetarian so was a bit worried about what I would eat. I ordered the vegetarian pasta and it blew me away! Best pasta I've eaten in years and the portion size was extremely generous. Overall everyone really enjoyed their meals and we were surprised how cheap it was for us all to dine there. Would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone.

Was served a beer that was room temperature at best and had a warm handle. Probably almost straight out of the dishwasher.

Bartender reckons he can't do anything about it and didn't care at all. Drunk half of it and left it on the table, yuck.

I've been curious about this place for years and finally had an excuse to go with colleagues. Lots of seafood options, but also great chicken parm and other options too. Liked the garlic bread and calamari entrees, and the John Dory fish I got with cheese and sauce was surprisingly excellent to me as something a little different. Steaks also look quite good.

Great food, friendly service! We took the kids 7,5 and 9months and where given a table on the conference room side and it was perfect! The kids could play around they had coloring in, we had a TV to watch the Olympics perfect will be back again forsure!

Service professional very responsive service very pleasant and kind had scallop mornay which was more like scallop soup with cheese browned under the salamander food average more like pub food oysters fresh and calamari OK need more olive oil and garlic worth another try

Have had dinner here 3 times now and absolutely love this restaurant. Whenever my mum is up from Hawkes Bay she wants to come here especially for the Calamari. The service is amazing and our waitress last night was so lovely. Thank you for a lovely meal and wonderful service:)

Fresh tasting scampi, oysters and mussels. All food was above average with really friendly attentive service.
Would recommend for family dinner venue as the kids would love seeing the turtles and tropical fish in tanks.
The beer menu could do with a better bet selection (I like my craft IPAs).

If you are looking for a cute place to have a few beersies or perhaps an afternoon wine and some nibbles then this place is pretty dope you na mean? Come on down to swashbucklers and have an o do ma o se haw experience:) the food plater was also very delightful, 100 percent would plater again. And never forget, it comes from, China

Great food/indoor out door seating with a view, heaps of parking, nachos/wedges/fish bites and sauces were on point plus warm firelit atmosphere. Authentic as great history all over the walls super interesting

Read so much about this place, enjoyed ther restaurant decor, loved the bear. Hear was a great place for seafood. Had the chowder and was a little disappointed to say the least. Must have visited on an off day never mind. Service was great food average at best. Never mind.

This would have to be the number1 Seafood Restaurant in Auckland, We've been coming here for years, and never been disappointed.

Went for dinner with my 9 year old. We sat in the restaurant part, and we both really liked the themed decor. They have aquariums with fish and turtles to look at as you wait for your meal. The staff were all very attentive, and were happy to explain the menu as well. I had a steak with scallops wrapped in bacon and it was all delicious. My kid loves having fish for dinner and she had so many options on the kids menu that she was interested in.

Can’t beat it, beers on the deck, fish bites and fries and any steak dish. I’m here at least once a week minimum!

I almost don't wanna say how great this place is cause I don't want it to get over run.

They did not disappoint! First of all, their prices are very fair, and the portions are very generous. The food is delicious and the seafood is also very fresh. The mussels we ordered were big and juicy. Oysters are also delicious.

Does what it says on the tin! Seafood, seaside (well marina side) location and family friendly lunch.
Service was very professional. My tuna meal was beautifully fresh and well cooked. The small people liked the fish tanks. Everybody left happy.

Got the share seafood platter for 2. Sensational. Excellent service, atmosphere and value. A must visit for great food and a nice dining experience. Would pay to book. It's popular!
