Every time - first class experience with first class food and drinks. The service is exceptional, great vibe (busiest on the waterfront strip by far) with a personal touch from the owner who I clocked went around every table / group to ensure all was well & gave them some banter. The pizzas are massive and a must.fave being the NV. We will be back soon. Thanks

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable meal.

Went for a work function, fabulous evening, great location. Amazing pizzas, lovely thin bases & tasty toppings. Attentive friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We had a hard time finding a restaurant on a Friday night but what a delight in finding the Conservatory. They were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the steak which was delicious and beautifully served. Of our 2 weeks in New Zealand it is the best meal we had.

We were walking by and saw a pizza and decided to go in
We were sat in a nice spot under a heater and this is as good as it got
We ordered a beer and we’re given a vase of beer
We sat there with our two year old son entertaining him while waited about 30 mins pass and out comes our crème brûlée
We mentioned that this is a desert
And we were waiting on a pizza
The waiter informs us that yes this is the case and will take away and remake
Al10 mins later the waiter reappears and tells us the pizza broke in the oven
And that they will make another
10 mins later we have nearly finished the vase of beer and and the waiter finally brings the pizza
It looked great
But the dough was under cooked
There was little to no sauce and far to much cheese to the point it literally tasted like eating the mildews cheese milk bread
And then two mins later the crème brûlée
Turns up it was soggy too no crispness you associate a crème brûlée to be and tasteless also
Please pick up ur game and fire the cook!

The food was good, but we all got our food at different times, and one item was forgotten. The waitress was fairly new and had to get advice on some of the menu and was hard to hear due to the noise. It was very noisy as there was a big group in the area we were seated.

We came here after looking for a table in the shade with our dogs. We were turned away at other places but lead to a lovely table with a view and a breeze. Puppers happy. All I wanted was an eye fillet steak and yay! It was on the menu. My hubby had the same, daughter had pizza, it was huge and will be her lunch for the rest of the week. Back to the steak.it was so good, the jus, I could have drank a glass of that. Topped of with Moscow mules and a lovely Sunday afternoon was had. Will def be back. Staff were at our beck and call and super friendly. No complaints at all. Gorgeous location. Why wouldn’t ya!

We just love The Conservatory. We keep looking for new places to try, but keep coming here because the setting, food, drinks, and service are amazing.

Great as always. We were late, and the restaurant was busy. No problem - still made to feel very welcome. Service fabulous. Food tasty.

A beautiful waterfront setting, delicious food and drinks. If you're looking for a place that strives to make service a priority, and does everything they can to make sure you're happy, then this is the place to go! Highly recommend.

Our first time dining at The Conservatory and we were very impressed! The food was exquisite, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful. Our waitress went out of her way to make us comfortable outside when it was really cold with blankets and hot water bottles, and we ordered 6 dishes and they were all amazing. There was a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, and the overall experience was really enjoyable! We had such a nice night and will definitely be back!

Great food and attentive service which we had planned to leave a tip for.
Upon payment of a $160 Wednesday lunch bill for 2 we noticed a random surcharge.
Won't be going back there as a matter of principal.
Probably America's cup compensation fee.yeah nah

Every time we go as a family the food and service is amazing and perfect. Last time I had a really bad tooth ache they made sure the food was made soft and easy to eat for me.

The owner always makes sure to interact with all his customers which is amazing!

Nice open place for afternoon meals with some nice meal options.
One of our friends asked the waitstaff to remove ice from her child's drink; she was just not happy about that request, and we had to inform the person in charge of her rude behavior.

First of all, excellent selection for someone with ceoliac disease! We had a great experience with a male staff member from Czech Republic. I have a rare oesophogus disease and he was able to provide the entire ingredient list for myself, I appreciate how annoying that must be during a busy shift. Thanks again to the owners of the business and the chefs for including 'difficult' people like myself!

Great small plates for lunch options. The fish bites were very tasty. The coffee was also very good. Great atmosphere too

Beautiful place with a good scenic view and fresh air. Food was amazing too. Loved the pizza, vegan burger, chicken burger, fish burger, Tempura tofu, crispy cauliflower and delicious Margherita was just in a different league given the good quality of buffalo mozzarella, basil and tomatoes and We loved the refreshing mocktails too it was virgin mules, and strawberry tomatoes. Staff service was awesome too. Must visit place.

The bao buns were unique with a black coloured bun - however the pork inside resembled more like bacon. Sauce inside was odd
Would have been better to go down a hoisen route.

The risotto was nice. However it resembled baby food and was such a sloppy consistency. All would have been forgiven if it acted had a hint of truffle oil like it claimed.

This is such a great place. I booked for a large group and because of Covid things were a bit tricky but they were very helpful and friendly along the way. Great service, awesome food and very nice drinks.
