The Conservatory reviews
77I cannot recommend The Conservatory enough! I’ve been there a couple of times and have been thoroughly impressed with the food, service and amazing cocktails each time. The lemon meringue cocktail is out of this world! The pizzas are huge and jam packed with fresh ingredients. Thanks so much for a great meal and brilliant, friendly service.
Really friendly staff, lovely spot on the waterfront on a sunny day and great food. Overall great atmosphere for lunch.
Enjoyed lunch at this restaurant with my partner on a stunning summer's Sunday. Greeted with a smile, selected own table. Excellent waited service, pleasant music and excellent meals! The ambience and view was most relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
Great experience here. The gin fizz drinks we had were absolutely delicious, as was the large pizza we shared. The food arrived fast even though the place was busy! And all of the staff were friendly and polite. Amazing view right by the water as well. Definitely coming back!
Been to the Conservatory numerous times. It's a go to place. Perfect spot on the water for great food, drinks and service. The food is exceptional, especially if you like pizza, they also have a great selection of beers /wines and cocktails. The manager and bar staff are always amazing which all adds to a great experience, a must for anyone visiting or living in auckland.
I was visiting from the States and stumbled across this gem! I went back twice because of the comfortable environment for a long sit, the kind and warm staff, and the relaxed environment. The food was really exceptional too!
Had some drinks and nibbles with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful weather which could be enjoyed with their numerous outdoor seating arrangements. Pizzas were huge, but the Pimms Vase was a bit smaller than anticipated.
We had lunch here and it was delicious, from our entree to our main we finished our plates.haha Our 1 year old boy and 9 month baby girl loved eating off our plates.
The cocktail was a bit pricey but it was yummy.
We will be coming back here again but with more family and friends.
My absolute favourite in the quayside.the food is always delicious, try the platters. Superb! Great drinks menu and friendly service make it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the sunshine with friends
Great spot in the sunshine. Food was very good and right portions for a well fed but not nap time feeling. Service was also good. Especially recommend the mussels. Bonus they had my favourite gin as a tasting platter!
Terrific service but horrible food. Chef came to apologize after seeing what we abandoned on our plates, more than 50% of what we ordered. Overcooked dense tasteless meat burger, rubbery chicken sandwich, pizza that looked terrific but was soggy and undercooked with poor ingredients. Manager was informed of all and charged us full whack of $168. So embarassing as we had guests visiting. Absolutely awful!

Oops overall amazing place
Service is absolutely spot on, the host (I think he said his name was joey) was fantastic. 10/10. Food and drinks were some of the best we've had in NZ.
Would highly recommend this place.
Great cocktail selection along with some good top shelf stuff. Nice view, decent food selection. Comfortable.
Lovely place to while away a lunch time. But be warned the Pizza are massive and very tasty. The rosemary fries are great and the Calamari is just perfect
I have returned to the Conservatory several times. It is very relaxing with an outdoor feel but protected from the weather. I always selected the same lounge seating. The key feature is the veiw across the Harbour, the enormous hamburgers and the 18" pizza.
Pretty decent food. Some hitting the mark more than others. Scallops and fish dishes were much better than the meat dishes. Pleasant service.
The service and food was amazing the staff were so on the ball. I could not fault 1 thing.this was my first time there but definitly wont be my last
Our group had such a lovely evening here for our end of year function. We were fit in at late notice and looked after very well by the team. Excellent cocktails enjoyed by all and no need to worry about an empty glass either - service was fast! 6 pizzas for our group of 20 and it was plenty - they truly are huge and delicious. Highly recommend!
Food was good but the wait wasnt. Took almost an hour for our order to be served. Plus what made it worse was 2 tables next to us had people who came in after us and yet got their food before we did.
