The Portland Public House

Easily the best burger deal in Auckland. 6 bucks for a great burger. 10 bucks and it comes with fries. I've tried the chicken, pulled pork and regular burger varieties and all have been excellent.

Great little local to hang with friends. Friendly and accommodating staff. Live music, Great atmosphere.

The people that work here are super friendly.also, Sydney, who I never really met, but was off duty when I was there and I could see from across the bar.she was just absolutely on form. I'd probably go back just for Sydney. I hope she gets a payrise

A great hangout. I'm always here for the Angus beef burgers ($6 ea 4-7 pm every day!), vege quesadilla or quinoa & halloumi salad. Viva la Portland Public House

The meals were average. One of us ordered a medium steak which was rare and a little tough, unfortunately. Staff were lovely, unfortunately the waitress didn't seem experienced. We asked for a finger bowl to clean our hands but she handed us a plate and didn't really check to see that everything was ok. The overall experience was just ok, we expected more.

Great vibe, great staff and good food. Enjoyed the live music too. Good for groups of friends or catching up with work mates.

Awesome food, great atmosphere.and whilst it was very hot out in the garden bar, the staff were only too happy to do what they could to make us comfortable.

Please be aware of this scam. Website stated clearly 15% student discount but NO discount. When I asked the staff said website before Covid and The attitude was so rude. Menu showed different price and charged extra for bigger size bottle (didn't explain until I asked). Honesty is not working well in this business.

I love this place! Always try to get a spot out in the beer garden. I’m currently working my way through the burger menu at just $6 with any drink every day from 4pm-7pm. They make delish cocktails! Always very friendly and great service

Great vibes, they seem to always have good live music if you make it to a live night. Feels a lot like Portland unsurprisingly. Drinks are reasonably priced too.

A great place for a night out. Lots of different spaces for different groups to be separated if needs be. Good food too!

Viby place! The staff are really outgoing and friendly, the decor in the restaurant is super trendy and the options on the menu are vegan/vegetarian friendly

Gorgeous place and food. Team could see me standing by myself waiting for friends and clearly quite nervous. Found me a stool by the bar and set me right up. Thank you PPH!

Some of the younger clientele dont follow traditional bar rules to know your place in line. Bar staff dont follow tradition and serve in order. Example of the I want it now generation. Otherwise nice venue. Didnt eat, but food looked good.

Great bar food, good portion size, a vast variety of menu options.

Loved the environment and the seating area. Quite a lot of options of activities on different days.

Came here after work with a colleague & had Italian chick pizza with brie, cost $10. Was filling & scrumptious! Totally enjoyed this, will buy it again!

Amazing burgers, great taps. $6 burgers from 4-7 can't be beat.

A warning for any Canadians who see poutine on the menu, you WILL be disappointed. The menu says cheese curds, they are not cheese curds. There's also enough gravy to drown a toddler. You're better off with the sweet memory of squeaky's, than taking a chance here.

The burgers are unreal though. Just order those.

Liked it! Really good place to have lunch or dinner. Food is superb, service is outstanding. Good choice of drinks

Veg friendly

Falafel burger was yummy and I was glad they even had any vegan options other than fries. The other time I just asked them to veganize their bowl and it was delicious. Their fries are amazing. I mainly go there for the beats by bingo events every last Wednesday of the month
