Umu Pizza reviews
71Too oily and the dough is not chewy. The toppings did not go well together, trying too hard to be fancy rather than be tasty.
Delicious Napoletana style pizza! We loved our experience there, lovely staff and cozy atmosphere. Oh and tiramisu was deeelicious!?
Pizzas were very tasty but had a dense chewy dough instead of a light fluffy chewy dough. Not wrong just different. Good atmosphere and drink selection
Kingsland is a buzzing place and this place just adds to it… went for dog walk and stopped off, shared a pizza had a lovely bottle of French Rose and were served and over served by friendly staff.pizza was lovely, I describe it as Italian flavoured pizza served on an amazing flavoured nan bread, so different, but amazing
Great pizza, fluffy crust, could do with punchier flavours as we felt it needed salt, pepper and chilli flakes for the table, so we could amp it up a little more. But nevertheless enjoyable. Nice cocktail, quick service.
Eating here is like listening to Dave Dobbyn sing slice of heaven, because that’s exactly what is. A slice of heaven full of angels
Pizza was amazing - quite like the ones in Italy was so impressed!
Cider went down well too. Thanks for a great meal!
Fantastic pizza, and great cocktail place also. Menu is relatively small for drinks but the Ukrainian behind the bar was happy to talk us through other options and go off menu.
I love it here. It has everything you need - pizza and cocktails! The service is amazing, the staff are so friendly and fun. The location is great and easy to get to by train. Highly recommend the desserts and the artichoke dips for the crusts.
Yummy! I got the Number 1 (margherita, I believe) with extra cheese and it was very tasty. I enjoyed the base in particular as it was super chewy and well cooked. Recommend for a good pizza in the Kingsland area
Very nice place. Popular for dinner. They also do takeaways. Had two pizzas with them they all have this nice wood fire taste and accommodate for vegans and vegetarians. Worth the price. Go for it!
Used to love this place but it's gone way down hill. Burnt black pizzas with old tasting ingredients. Definitely not cheap for a meal that's obviously made with no care.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic & friendly staff. Banging playlist. Great first experience at UMU highly recommend! Straight up vibeeeesss.
Haven't been for a while and decided to try again. Not sure if it was because they where busy, but pizzas where average with less toppings than normal. Mix that with the price per pizza and i think it will be waiting a fair while before going back. Hope it improves, shame its gone downhill
Delicious, finger licking goodness! We tried almost all of them already. Number 3,4 are our personal favourites! Lots of topping and very flavourful. The others seemed quite bland.
Hohohohoohh hohohhoh yummmmmmyy yummmmmmy lllooovvv eeeeeeeee pizzzzaaazazzzzzazaza.sing it then you get it
A place to go when you want REALLY REALLY GOOD wood-oven baked pizza! The pizzas are delicious-I love that they always have different items on their menu! Their adjacent bar is incredibly warm and friendly. I've had the immense fortune of meeting Simon-great guy, who really values his customers and is there to make genuinely good pizza. It's really nice to put a face on a local business.
Good pizza and very nice atmosphere. Prices are a little steep but reasonable for a visit once in a while.
Disappointing - our pizza tasted more of charcoal than sourdough to be honest, searing is fairly cramped and uncomfortable too. Prices are pretty high given the above
