Waited 45 min for food.

Had the salmon bene - the poached eggs were really good and there was plenty of salmon. But I don’t understand how fresh tomatoes go with smoked salmon. Something just didn’t quite merry. Felt like something was lacking.

Also, the presentation was boring. The plate seemed barren. Nowhere near as exciting as the photos I saw on internet.

Disappointed: (

Great food and although they don't take bookings, a message the night before, to say there was a group of 10. They had a table all ready and the service was great

Very efficient and friendly service. Eggs Benedict with Salmon potion size was good - not too little or much - just right and the ciabatta was crunchy on the outside and soft one the inside. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Good first time experience

This place is a complete delight the menu has so many great options and everything was so pretty I had the granola and it was so full of flavour and crunch! They also offer some delish looking lunch options! The staff are really lovely & they offer free wifi, with the cutest password ️

Very pleasent. I was all about just getting a coffee after a surf. Good coffee and savoury muffin. Didn't check out the menu

A short but nice menu and food. Unfortunately there was no customer service, the place is small and with a lot of noise from the kitchen. Just missing the right people looking after and providing a better experience.

Had a really disappointing experience here. Ordered a coffee and breakfast before work as here from out of town. Pre-second lockdown, all of NZ well in level 1. And nothing came 15 minutes later, lady came to ask me what coffee I ordered. 10 minutes later still no coffee, while I saw plenty of coffee coming out. Asked about my food and told straight away but I had to leave as I had only only about 30 minutes. Wasn’t particularly busy, was a Wednesday morning. Maybe great for Sunday bunch or digital nomads. No apology from staff or expression of regret, how dare someone order coffee and breakfast and don’t wanna hang out for extended periods in a hipster cafe.

Brilliant service, coffee and food. Buckwheat pancakes for breakfast were a treat on the eyes and taste buds equally. Mocha was a 10. Partner had Eggs Benedict with bacon and scored 10 too. Nice ambience.

Cool place with pretty decor and friendly staff. We were disappointed that they had just run out of bao buns when we ordered, but the Vietnamese pancakes and tofu parcels (dumpling soup) were both really nice. Great flat white too, would happily eat here again

Good coffee and delicious food. Licenced and serving locally produced craft beers. Recommended.

Salmon bagel for a late lunch was just what I needed. Service was good and Sunshine Beer was yum.

Eggs Benny with bacon was great, lovely tasty bright egg yolks and not too much hollandaise sauce, was a tasty change with tomato which I'd not had before. Good long black coffee. Friendly quick service. Recommended.

Delicious! Good serving sizes. The beef burger & amazing kumara fries defeated me (only just)

Love these buckwheat pancakes. Sick attention to detail in the presentation. Delicious flavors. Relaxed but awesome service. Coffee is also excellent.
Best breakfast in town.

Really light and fresh layout, ordered the kimchi pancakes which were light and fluffy, really nicely balanced flavours. Portions were much bigger than expected too!

Amazing eggs Benedict with heaps of salmon, my partner absolutely loved the Ranchero breakfast, really good serving and delicious! Would have given a 5 but one coffee was good and one not so.

Waited for one hour for lunch then to be told another 20 minute wait as our order had been mucked up. Very unprofessional!

Group booked in for breakfast. Told to go away. Arrogant staff. I Recommend going to the wharf Bar & Grill. Much more welcoming

Nice spot for breakfast, coffee was good and strong. Seating available inside and outside. Eggs benedict was fresh and tasty. Due to time constraints I eventually got it as takeaway and this was accommodated easily. Worth a stop for brunch and coffee.
