Kilim Cafe Napier

4 of us had dinner there last night. We are frequent diners there. The Menu has changed all of us were disappointed with our meals.

One of the best Turkish coffee I ever had, tge food is great as well.
Definitely recommend the coffe with milk. It is bit strong but if your coffee person you would love it for sure.

What a mess! Order a mixed meat on rice and my partner Ordered a mixed meat on chips. Lamb is extremely chewy and minimal chicken on both. Took 20 minutes to make, chips were cold and had to ask for salads extra! Turkish is our favourite cuisine and we have eaten at dozens of Turkish food joints. 1/100 do not recommend. This is easily the worst Dish I’ve had from a Turkish restaurant.
It’s seems the Owner changed their reply pulling an absolute bluff to cover their poor quality kebab shop, we didn’t get a combo meal neither did we wait 10 minutes before eating our meals. You left your chips for 10 minutes out of the fryer waiting for the chicken to cook hence why they were cold. We won’t need to worry about ordering “the right thing” next time because we won’t be back. Cheers.

The best meals with reasonable prices in Napier. Food is always fresh & tasty. Efficient friendly service.

We were in Napier for a couple of days, this was the only place that had proper flavoured food. Absolutely loved dining here. Everything was perfect️ Until next time

Food was so fresh and delicious for a very reasonable price! Would recommend the mezze platter so you can try all the yummy bits. Staff were also very lovely.

There was small plastic in my first bite of the rice. Staff didn't come to us for checking if food was ok, and no one in the counter when we left. So we didnt manage to let them know the issue.
Other than that, all good.

First time reviewing a business but felt I had to as when I went in to Kilim for my first time yesterday, was happily surprised with warm atmosphere and amazing food! Wait was a tiny bit long, but definitely worth the wait, food was unlike any other I've had. Staff were very friendly, I was served by a young gentleman who seemed a little new but made up for it with his warm attitude and helpful insight. 10/10 would recommend and will be back again!

I have enjoyed food from here a number of times. Reasonable prices, good portion size and a good selection. I've dined in with a full menu selection and also grabbed a kebab on the go - both experiences were good.

Amazing, actually authentic food - on Christmas Day for a party of 20 people. Thank you for the taste, the ambiance and the hospitality.

Food was great even on a super busy night. Ran out of some things but that was explained and the servers although rushed off their feet were super friendly, calm and helpful

Shocking that you need a vaccine pass for takeaway. Its a shame that you dont provide an option for contactless and are not offering your amazing food to all New Zealanders.
Spoke to the young lady on the phone who also asked the supervisor, and they said that they dont do takeaway unless you have a pass.

A hidden gem - has a delicious selection of plates, good size portions and a lovely shaded courtyard area. Quick service by friendly staff too!
