63Went into Hastings store today to buy a fan. Asked at the counter where 2 staff members were standing talking to each other, they told us they think they Sold out and go to the Warehouse! No service at all. Shocking. Nothing professional at all with these two staff.
Poor customer service every single time. They never approach to the customer and offer their service. If you wait for them to come over and talk to you, i bet you will be standing there whole day. Majority of the staffs are busy talking each other.
Very dissatisfying service. My laptop was given for repair as I had purchased the warranty. They say 2-3 weeks but it took almost 10 days for them to send it through to the HP store. You call the store to get different replies -staff shortage etc. It’s been over two weeks and it seems there r communication gaps between HP and Noel leeming each waiting for the other to respond. Unfortunately the customer suffers. Will be careful not to buy any products from this store in future
Went there yesterday to purchase a phone. Been waiting for assistance more than 15 minutes and been told no one available at the moment. Looks like only one staff with the customer while others just standing behind the counter.
Absolutely useless staff that have no idea what their products are about that they're supposed to be selling. Walked out once again.
Purchased an iPhone along with an added 3 year product warranty (for extra money)
After a year and a half the phone broke on contact with water (although it’s specifications state being waterproof for 30 minutes up to 1 metre submersion) and they denied it being a manufacturers fault, refusing to replace my phone. Don’t bother buying anything valuable through NL, and especially don’t bother with added warranties. They will not pay you out. 0/10 for this one Noel Leeming
Call and inquired about a Apple Watch and the staff told me it’s in stock (two different models).
Then I was there after about 1hr and got told that nothing available. What a waste of time and Petrol use. Customer service is too good. Keep up
I want to give half a star. For the sad lack of service from any staff member there. And there seems to be lot of them. Lots of them just talking to each other and not seeing the customers that are needing help. Walked out and bought my new iPhone from Napier. I should say this is not an isolated incident, I’ve walked out previously for the SAME reason and bought my new laptop from Harvey Norman. You should send your staff there to watch how customer service works. They’re bubbly and full of life and eager to help in Napier. Up yours Hastings Noel Leeming your shop makes my blood boil.
We bought a fridge back in March. Was delivered with damaged doors during transit. Took photos and sent to Noel lemmings. They said we will order new doors -can I email them a photo of the damage which I did while talking to them in the store. I have just phoned them to ask when the doors will arrive - they said nothing to do with us it’s the Napier store the fridge was dispatched from. Napier store have asked for photos - nothing had been ordered back to square one now I have to re do photos and send to the Napier store. Honestly what a unprofessional bunch. Talking to others, and seeing previous reviews I would have gone elsewhere. Don’t spend your money here. Poor customer service staff seemed flustered- the day I went in another customer left dissatisfied with his order. I only hope they get a better Manager and train staff up.

Zero star i have given to this Noel Leeming store in Hastings, i have found customer service is soo poor that they can not help you at all, the CSR's have no clue about anything of your product, here is the story, so what happened i bought a brand new phone from noel leeming with insurance which cost me around $23 a month and i have been paying since 2019 which means i already paid them $828. So now my phone got broken and went to get it recoved from protection cover where i have to pay them another $200 excess fee than they going to replace it or get it repaired within certain timeframe, now sixth week is almost ending they have no clue about my phone, you have just lost one regular customer and i am going to share this with all of my knowns and i will tell them about treatment to customer and i have deactivated my protection cover and definately not coming back for any type of shopping.
I want my phone back ASAP i dont have time and patience to wait after paying $1028 in total and still need to wait for 7 to 8 weeks.
I want to talk to area Manager if there is anyone.

No one comes to help you! I went to buy a new laptop today and spent a good 20 minutes looking at them. I found the one I was keen on and no one was around to help me. I looked around the shop, seemed to be plenty of staff that weren’t with customers, no one came to see if I needed help. I walked out and went straight to Harvey Norman and bought the same laptop there.
Bought a tv from Hastings noel Leeming for 3K, It went on offer for 2600 after 7 days, they do provide price protection policy, and there is 14 days change of mind policy as well, and I had purchased 3 years extended warranty on it as well so I went to ask them if they could pay me the back the difference as it cheaper now, they flatly denied it and argued with me that the tv is out of the box so it is not in its original condition.it has the box and the wrapping also, and change of mind means if we don't like the item we can change it, and we will only not like the item if we take it out of the box a nd actually use it.staff was o rude, has to state all the facts and argued with them for 30 40 minutes and when they knew i was not gonna budge then they paid me the variance back.
Had noise issue with Samsong combo washing machine so they send credit to get the new one. We chose Panasonic and it was beautifully quiet! It was perfect swap except the manager tried to overcharge me $100plus. Lucky I looked online found it was special deal otherwise manager would not tell me.
Rude, surly staff. Three who couldn't be bothered to even try and offer service of any kind. Very umimpressed and certainly won't be hurrying back.
Went into Neol leeming Hastings to pick up a tablet that I was told would be left behind the counter ready for me to collect. I went straight to the counter & was greeted by a very rude female with a bad attitude. I have shopped at Noel Leeming many times but after that experience I don't think I will be back.
To be fare this rating is more for customer service at head office, i have been dealing with a member who refuse's to make a few simple phone calls to try and work out a resolution to an issue that has now been going on for 1 month. His attitude is poor there customer service is very average in my opinion and they might as well not have a customer service line if this level of service is all they can provide.

I walked out after another customer was put before me who wasn't waiting in line by an on floor staff person! Never going back! Went to Harvey Norman and bought what I originally went into Noel Leeming to buy, 4 bucks cheaper!
Went into buy a coffee machine no one helped us. Picked the box from under the display and went to checkout to pay. As we headed there a sales person bolted over. We continued to till as no way was he getting commission for doing nothing. Disappointed with the lack of customer service today.
Spent $230 and asked if they could put my screensaver onto my phone, and they still charged me $10 for them to do it.not good
