Friendly helpful staff. Anonymous surroundings. Large portions. Average quality. Expensive.

Have dined there often. Wide variety of flavours and dishes. Staff very happy to explain dishes. Service is quick, and follow-up service is obliging. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Excellent choice. Can be noisy on the weekends because of happy families.

Best yumcha I have ever tried in NZ. Would have eaten here weekly if I live closed by. Also, it is so resonably priced. If you are craving yumcha, do not go anywhere else. Come to this place and you won't be disappointed.

Not recommended. Pineapple bun and sweet douhua were really bad and disgusting. We asked the staff is there any stuffing inside the bun before we ordered, and he said no so we ordered it. The buns were cold so we requested to reheat them but we found that there’s pineapple mixed with custard inside the bun! It was called pineapple bun not because there’s pineapple inside, it’s because of the look!

For the sweet douhua, they did not provide brown sugar. They only have syrup and that’s all. That’s not a Cantonese restaurant, everything was weird.

We waited food for a long time, the food was bad, and service was not nice.

It was a very very busy Saturday night so a long wait but definitely worth it. The best black bean beef I have ever tasted. Hubby's squid was deliciously soft.

A truely amazing place. Lovely staff, awesome food and such a relaxing atmosphere. First time ever to a Chinese restaurant and food. It was just amazing.

The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of separation between tables. The restaurant is clean, tidy and bright.

Good place for a group lunch (for yum cha) where you can savour the great selection of food on offer.

Lovely staff + lovely food, thank you for being kind and polite to us and for providing us with so much nice food! Everything was clean and tidy also. I will not have to worry about making meals for a little while, since I have these takeaway boxes!

Totally blown away by the excellent food quality. I sampled four different items at a group event and it was hard to pick a favourite. Best chicken/corn soup I've ever had. The mains were all unique. Not your standard takeaway taste at all. Service was very friendly and professional.

Terrible here. I ordered some food they brought wrong one but they said just have it they didn't apologize at all but forced to have that one and we wanted to have what we wanted they didn't like and took back that food what we didn't order.more surprisingly they charged me that food which we didnt order! Feels like something not right so we went back to ask receipt and she was checking receipt first and gave back money without any apologize. I never want to go back.and food was really terrible ever!

Nice dim sum at an affordable price, be sure to call early to place an order as there is a considerable wait time.

Yum cha - very reasonably priced, large portion sizes, delicious, lovely friendly and courteous service who didn't rush me and said that what I'd ordered would be enough for one person rather than trying to sell me more. The warm buttery yellow decor and surroundings was clean and tidy. The music was soothing and I felt very comfortable there. I bought one dish more than I normally would in a Wellington yum cha restaurant and Tasty was $15 cheaper but with bigger portions. I don't know about other yum cha restaurants in Palmerston North but I was very happy to discover this one! It's not a flash restaurant but a wholesome one.

I arrived 45 minutes before closing and the kitchen was closed.bad experience. I would not go back

Visited this restaurant with family and friends whilst on holidays from Australia. As the name says the food was very tasty at affordable prices. Service was top class. BYO so take your wine or beer. Would highly recommend in Palmerston North

We returned to this restaurant after many years. What a pleasure. The food had improved a 100 fold. The same pleasant service. Loved every morsel of food devoured. Value for money too.

Food, service and atmosphere was nice. I prefer the yumcha back in Wellington, but the price here is near half the price so its acceptable.

Great service, but I find the food too salty for my personal taste.

The Steamed Beef Tendons were too dry and Wonton Soup tasteless.

Family favourite Chinese restaurant, come here very regularly and they have consistently delivered good dishes and service! Dim sum and dinner is equally yum! Highly recommend this place!
On a side note, if the tofu 花 was served with ginger syrup, it would make the dish 10x better:)

Yum cha has some nice flavours. Its cooked to order so a bit of a wait time but its freshly cooked.
