Honestly amazing! We drove there from Hawkes Bay because it’s our closest yum cha (unbelievable but true), worth every little bit! The food was delicious, the staff were so lovely!

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Palmy, even better than a lot of other Chinese restaurant in Wellington.
Their yamcha and their Chinese dishes have always been very consistent, delicious and tasty. Portions are also very generous.

The service and staffs have been amazing and have always been very accommodating even when they’re busy. Highly recommend this place.

Do try theirs spicy sour soup, and their Peking duck.

Wasn't aware of this wharekai until invited to end of year lunch. Beautiful food as is Chibess cuisine!

I will admit I was hesitant to go here just because of the name, turns out to be the best Chinese food I've ever had. The price was very reasonable and food beautifully done. Will definitely be visiting again

One of the most Authentic Chinese restaurant in Palmy. Very affordable. Usually spent $40-50 for a group of 4 for lunch. Will be back!

Went out for dinner with a couple of friends, they had been recommended the place. We didn't really know what to expect but we were hoping for a good night out and a good dinning experience.
Discovered on our arrival that the place is a BYO which is okay as there is a liquor store around the corner and a supermarket across the road.
Wow the menu was huge we brought and shared our meals we couldn't eat it all.
If I go back and again I would have a banquet as it appears to be value for money. Good service good food.

Our favorite restaurant in Palmy. Always go for gum cha. Possibly better than most gum cha in Hong Kong even. Owners are friendly. Always recommended friends to go there and they were not disappointed!

Delicious food and very good service. We had a banquet for 4 people and added crispy duck which was delicious. Our 3 mains were crispy pork, satay beef and sweet & sour chicken served with egg fried rice.

This is normally the Chinese that we pick but after tonight we will be alot more cautious. Ordered the fried noodle with beef and it felt like the noodles had been forgotten about and just left to soak.the texture was like chewing on pure fat.
Ordered the honey chicken and again it just felt like they forgot about it or it was cooked before we placed the order.the chicken was just slimey with no crunch. The reason this isn't a 1star is because the BBQ pork buns were really good.
Please don't serve this kind of food to paying customers.we know that you can do better because we've had it in the past

The Chinese Restaurant with yum cha dim sums to order. Some of the items are only available on weekend. We ordered the black sesame roll dessert but replied that the restaurant has stopped offer this dish for a while.
On the whole, the food are yummy with reasonable price.

Excellent food and very friendly staff members. We arrived in the middle of a very hot day and the manager turned on the A/C straight after welcomed us in. Also offered to change our table to somewhere away from the direct blow of the A/C unit so our food do not get cold too fast.
It offers a variety of choice from Dim Sum to normal Chinese meal dishes. Great experience here!

Suggest updating your opening hours on Trip Advisor, we walked half an hour on a Tuesday to find it closed

I have spent a lot of time in Asia so I feel confident in saying the food here is excellent. More authentic than anywhere else in NZ. The ambience and service let's the place down sadly. Hence the 4 star. A hidden gem.

Authentic Chinese food at affordable price! Only thing is good things take time. So be prepared to wait for a bit longer for your order to turn up.

The service was appalling, the meal came out in dribs and drabs and they kept making excuses. Not acceptable, they want to be professional, they need to own it when they mess up. I went in with my wife and daughter, my wife got half her meal, about 45 minutes later mine came with my daughters and the rest of my wifes meal. At the prices they charge they need to do better.
