Wow what a view definitely "People's Choice" and such dedicated staff and extra special support - food choices great.

This is an awesome cafe! The gallery has so many cool pieces and includes a ton of wildlife. There is an adorable saint bernard that roams around that is worth the stop alone. There is a garden surrounded by bamboo and ponds that is very peaceful. There are really just so many little things to see here. The food was delicious and the view from the cafe table is also incredible! If you are travelling through the area, this cafe is a must see!

A magnificent spot for a nice meal (or just a coffee) with a great bush and ocean view. Very interesting galleries and gardens.

Great place to stop on the scenic route to Russell. Fantastic food and freindly staff. Great veiw from the terrace and lots to temp you arts and craft wise.

A complete surprise on the road from Russell. Cafe serving pies, sandwiches etc by friendly staff, but for me it was the gallery that filled my tank. Variety of quality art, jewelry and sculptures, inside and in the garden. So worth the stop.

Ah-Mazing. Never had a dining experience like this before. Such views of the countryside, and above-and-beyond service!

Having stopped there many years ago, we did so again recently. While the grounds and the gallery are still beautiful, the café was a total disappointment.
Food was very basic and bland and the cappuccino was horrible!

A nice cup of coffee in a beautiful setting and an interesting shop filled with artefacts next door. Not to forget the adorable Saint Bernard dog welcoming all visitors. A must visit.

We felt it wasnt avery good menus for lunch had the French toast.half a slice of bacon half a banana bread didnt seem fried and the so called conserve on top was tasteless.the bagel very hard salmon and cream cheese ok

It's all about the view. They take bookings. It's only a 14km diversion off SH1 and it's en route to Russell and Cape Brett. Awesome gallery of art - sculpture, painting, photo reproductions, jewellery, furniture, glass, ceramics and much more. Cafe food is simple but good for light snacks or meals. Good for groups and couples. When you've done with all that you can walk around epic gardens with sculpture.

Fairly mediocre for a long drive to get there. Great views, though. The artgallery next door is eclectic but overpriced.

Wonderful place to visit. We had a wonderful breakfast and visited the gift shop afterwards. Would recommend a visit.

With working in Real Estate we often are in the area. Helena Bay Cafe is our favorite cafe for lovely food, coffee & service, and the views to enjoy are 'heavenly'. Great place to bring your friends.

Amazing location, really well done and thought out, inside and out. A never ending amount of things to see. With the art gallery and the gardens to the cafe and over look while eating I felt like I was in another country. Food wasn't the best but service was great, atmosphere was cool, even the other guests were super friendly. Warning though! Do not take a large vehicle, camper or caravan down, park at the top.

The treat of seeing local artwork, together with good food a d a view out to the coast, makes this a worthy interlude on a y trip through the area. And the lovely Old English Sheepdog will love a rub.
