Helena Bay Cafe

Me and my wife had food and coffee yesterday at helena bay cafe and I must say, it was a great experience. Keep up the great work guys. Highly recommend

Great food with an outstanding view of the ocean. The gallery is amazing and varied. Not bad prices too. This is a must see if you're in the area.

Beautiful place to be. The Ocean views are spectacular, the Gallery is full of incredible Original Art and Craft work from Contemporary to Cultural to refreshingly Modern. The Cafe Menu allows for choices across a lovely mix of food and beverages which are Yummyliscious and the service is friendly and casual yet efficient. The beautiful garden walks are an added bonus as is the Outdoor Chessboard and the lovely little places on the walk to sit and chat while relaxing in the bushlike surroundings. We love being in this place.it's a 'have to visit' place for us when we're in Whangarei - AND it's just a 32 km drive away.

Wonderful food. Great view. Friendly staff. Only issue, is the dog poo lying around the parking. We stepped in so many piles of dog poo. Disappointed in the fact there are signs no dogs allowed, yet there is poo lying around. Other than that beautiful place.

We stopped as the kitchen had closed but the lovely staff still whipped up great loaded wedges for the kids. Super-friendly, the kids had fun exploring the sculptures and what a great gallery. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful spot to stop for lunch on a motorcycle ride from Kerikeri. The food is always good & they do great coffee.

Today we had a late lunch at the Helena Bay cafe. We were served by a delightful waiter. (TE). She asked about my need to be gluten free and clarified if this was a preference or a medical condition. She was friendly, knowledgeably and very helpful. The service from her was above and beyond! The food was well presented and very tasty and timely for all the meals for the 6 of us. We will definitely come again.

What a f… stunning view. The tea and coffee have been good, the browny was tasty and not too sweet and the staff is very friendly.
Overall I’ll make a stop here every time I pass through.

Beautiful area with friendly and capable staff members, willing to go the extra mile for your comfort. BLT bagel absolutely delicious. Rings at the gallery for sale just beautiful too. A must do cafe trip.

Such an amazing little piece of paradise, great food, service & views. Highlight was meeting Leonardo the huge St Bernard dog. Kids loved him.

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful views, good prices and great food. Friendly staff. The parking was really full and the same on/out drivway was something to be aware of, but other than that, a great experience.

Wonderful place gracious host awesome food and lots of wonderful eye candy in the gallery.will be back

Wow what a view definitely "People's Choice" and such dedicated staff and extra special support - food choices great.

This is an awesome cafe! The gallery has so many cool pieces and includes a ton of wildlife. There is an adorable saint bernard that roams around that is worth the stop alone. There is a garden surrounded by bamboo and ponds that is very peaceful. There are really just so many little things to see here. The food was delicious and the view from the cafe table is also incredible! If you are travelling through the area, this cafe is a must see!

A magnificent spot for a nice meal (or just a coffee) with a great bush and ocean view. Very interesting galleries and gardens.

Great place to stop on the scenic route to Russell. Fantastic food and freindly staff. Great veiw from the terrace and lots to temp you arts and craft wise.
