Had an excellent experience at Quail. The staff were awesome and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Great service, beautiful place. Shame about the works going on at the moment, parking is difficult but hopefully soon that will change.

Our first visit yesterday and will definitely return.we got there at opening time so had our choice of seating.beautiful surroundings, food was excellent (recommend the fat quail big breakfast), coffee great and the staff friendly and welcoming.

A hidden gem nestled in nature! Such a beautiful cafe with a yummy selection of food! Lil is amazing and has done a great job. Went with a friend and both agree the best breakfast we hve ever had and the service is great! Can’t wait to go again! Thanks lil x

We've become regulars here, because the food is always great and the coffee is awesome. The cabinet selection is outstanding with really beautiful presentation too. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and you can't beat the location. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Four of us, mid morning, two for breakfast, two for coffee, great service, smiling owner and staff.
Overall a great experience, we will be back.

This is a lovely, clean and very popular cafe/restaurant. It adjoins the Quarry Gardens off Russell Rd. As you enter, drive straight ahead up to the carpark (which can be quite congested due to the popularity of these attractions. Inside/outside eating with table service. Cabinet and blackboard food options. Very clean Loo's. Pleasant, attentive staff. Bush outlook is lovely. A 'must visit'.

10/10 would reccomend. The environment is clean and fresh, The view from the windows are so pretty, and the employees are so sweet, and their croissants are amazingg.

Lovely cafe, but service was a little slow. Would have given a full 5star but unfortunately there was a piece of hair in our corn fritters half way through the meal.the manager was very apologetic and offered us another meal without extra charges.

The service was very good, the waitresses were very nice, the food and drinks were also delicious!

Absolutely one of the best mochas I have had and the long black was great too. There is an amazing range of gluten free food also. Well done guys and thanks for being so friendly too

Beautiful food with beautiful surrounding gardens. A must visit! Loved the twice bakes french toast. The quesadilla looked great too and the homemade beef pie! Lots of parking. Visit the gardens after as well!

Brunch here was fantastic. It was a lovely sunny day, and the cafe was very busy. The menu is full of delicious looking food. We received great service at the counter. Friendly and polite. Given the number of people in the cafe at the time, we were impressed with how promptly we received our meals and drinks. The food was well presented and absolutely delicious. This cafe has everything. Beautiful surrounds, fantastic food, and great service. Highly recommended.

Love spending my time in this place! Atmosphere is so relaxing and the food is superb. The staff make you feel at home and the beautiful scenery around the cafe is just a bonus for a place you will spend half a day at and miss as soon as you leave!

Super busy this Sunday morning but all staff were smiling and friendly. Delivering great coffee and delicious food we were all very impressed and we can be quite fussy. My poached eggs were hard and overcooked but the entire experience was so flawless that it didn’t matter, I just added a little relish. The Fat Quail (a pretty gourmet version of a big brekkie) was really yum. We were a group of adults, elderly grandparents with a 13 and 2 year old - thoroughly enjoyed by all. So great to see businesses in Whangarei delivering great service (and food) keep up the good work!
