Had a very enjoyable end of week meal. Exceptional service and great food. Needs to be more populated but is a hidden gem

Fine service and food came out relatively quickly (it wasn't super busy). Hash brown stack was nice but not work the money. We also got the Sliders - very nice and worth the money. We dined in over the New Years break.

I would be mindful that other items on the menu are not good value for money.

Would recommend! Great little spot.

We had some amazing platters from the cafe.

Staff extremely friendly and the platters were made up with the selection that we had asked for earlier.

Cannot wait to return again on our Annual trip.

Ok - if you're in the Ruakaka/Marsden Point/Whangarei area.do yourself a favour and visit this place.
Food - great, tasty, well made.
Big breakfast is great, Kid loved the simple Banana smoothie, wife loved the Pancakes Bacon & Maple syrup.
Coffee.damn good!
Service - friendly, quick, smiles.
Great inside outside seating, cool temps on hot days.
Kid got given some Lego to mess with - distraction & thoughtful - better than those damn colouring sheets.

Best coffee in town! Yummy food and friendly service. My husband and I frequent this place often.

My wife and I go here regularly for our coffee fix, and have yet to receive a bad coffee, it is consistently amazing! We also have our Saturday breakfasts here usually, and the quality of the food has been great, and is only surpassed by the friendliness of the staff. Our experience has definitely earned your business 2 ongoing regular customers!

Really lovely man served us. Just lack of communication and what was ordered came back completely different. The potato Rosti was really disappointing and tasted raw. Was a rainy day and was just a really drab place with not a lot of seating inside.

Always open, nice atmosphere. Coffee served with a lovely smile. Nice place to get a breakfast!

Best pies in ruakaka.

Food was not very good in flavour or quality (my partner was served a banana that was brown with her pancakes). The plates and cutlery on the tables and out for the cabinet food were grubby and had food visibly stuck to them and I got food poisoning from eating here. Would not recommend and will not be eating here ever again

Father’s Day - I took my husband and our 4 year old for brunch, we made our order and sat down for our order to be made, a lovely couple arrived and we spoke with them for a while until their meal was served to them…. I sat there thinking hang on where is our order it has been 40 minutes and we arrived before these people and they have been served their meal before us. I see 1 of the chefs speaking to the couple then a second chef come out so I approached the counter asking where our meal was… the chef was confused and thought we had already received our meal…. I read out our meals and he was even more confused…. It seems the waitress did not hand in our food docket!

The chef was very apologetic and offered to quickly make the meals but we had a open home that we had to be at so we couldn’t stick around…. HOWEVER the waitress standing right there offered no apology for her mistake and completely ignored the
Situation!

We were looking forward to our meals as we have heard great things about this place but clearly not that day.

Very very helpful hosts. Customer service is the most important aspect of any Business.
Too many proprietors forget.

I called here today with my family for the first time. I had the big breakfast and my wife and son had pancakes. The food was delicious and very well presented. I would highly recommend this place as it’s the best in the area in my opinion. Thanks

My husband asked the chef if he could make me a really simple sponge cake with jam and cream for my birthday. I love the cheap and cheerful ones from the bakery but we couldn't find one up here. These guys were so great and did exactly what he asked, no fuss at all. It was delicious! Thank you sooo much!

Slow service. Tables all dirty.
Food nothing special but expensive.
We recently moved to Waipu so thought would be nice to go there after doing our groceries.
Won't be going again.

Great food and awesome service and staff. Lovely seating areas with good lot of parking area nearby. Lots of shops around the cafe to wander around.
