Central City Camping Park reviews
35I think the reviews are a bit unfair maybe we just had luck but it’s a lovely campsite. Our room was simple but clean and it had a heater it was really cosy. Best sleep since long time. The kitchen was really well equipped and was clean and the lounge was really nice with a tv. The bathrooms were really clean and you can shower for 7 min which is more then enough. The staff when we checked in was really friendly and you get a wifi code for 1 gb which was working as well! So really nice place! Definitely come here again for that price it was more then enough.
LOVE this place, funky, & friendly.awesome hosts.walking distance to town.a firm favourite of mine.
Great location. Great facilities, clean, reasonable rates. Was greeted by a friendly young lady. Met the resident Cat boss, beautiful white lady.
Small ' great ' campsite in city center. First look is that it is small but al the main things you need or very good: showers/toilet, and kitchen. Go there
Available to book just 10min ago and also can check it at night. Looks OK worth it. Kitchen is cleaned
Nothing fancy but that's how camping should be! We're used to really roughing it in the middle of nowhere so this place is luxury in comparison. Also, the manager is friendly as and gave us an extra room on the house when he saw that we'd booked a room not big enough for us by mistake. Showers are awesome. Everything is clean and sanitary. Nice cozy place to rest your head after a long day of discovery and adventure. 5 stars for cleanliness and hospitality!
Wonderful staff.very clean and secure campsite for such a central location. Thank you all for making our stay over the Christmas period so enjoyable.and looking after our home on wheels whilst we were away on Stewart and Ulva Islands.
Amazing little gem near the central city. CC was so accommodating and friendly! Could not recommend this place any higher. Great value for money. Best campground hands down!
A nice and clean campground in the centre of the city. Not too much noise from the road. Staid 2 nights on our TA walk
Good little campground within easy walk to the main shopping area. Very helpful & obliging owner. Thank you Najeeb.
This is a small caravan park, that has it all. A family business, kept very neat and tidy, great location and a beautiful communal area which encourages guests to socialise with others. Came for 1 night, stayed 3. Highly recommended!
Super friendly staff and they allow check in till late (I was around 8pm and other campgrounds were closed)! Everything was very clean and functional! They provide you with: a kitchen, a laundry (need 2 dollar coins), toilets and showers. I didn't have coins for the laundry and they charged my card for that and gave me enough coins. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything is functional and in great condition. Having a few micro wave ovens is rare in campgrounds. I found there a lot of forks and spoons while in other campgrounds they usually lack. 7 minutes of hot water shower was a bless and you can prolong, but need to enter a code another time. Not a problem considering how much joy you have in a hot shower after days of traveling. As a bonus you can find there super big white cat which is very friendly and has so soft fur! You can pet the cat for hours but it is not allowed to feed him because he is very fat! Next time I will definitely choose this campground!
Nice little campground. Flat places for your tent, clean facilities, nice staff.
Kitchen has toasters, small ovens, kettles, stoves, some cutlery and pans (not many pots and only small ones). But it works.
It is short walk to the Pak'n'Save to buy stuff and to the city centre in general.
WiFi - you get 1GB for free, after that you probably have to pay (not sure, didn't need more).
Stayed a couple of nights, comfortable and clean, and a good location too, good value for the money.
Great place, the TV has prime, the showers give you the perfect amount of time (they are on a timer) the only drawback is the wifi ($15NZD for 1024MB) but overall it was a great place to stay
Friendly staff. Small campground in a great location. The facilities/decor could be updated but otherwise it's good value for money and gives you everything you need. Coin operated laundry, toilets, hot showers and a full communal kitchen, dining and lounge/tv room
Not a bad place to stay in Invercargill. The room was super basic, but it was clean. The shared kitchen and lounge are also clean and looked after. If all you need is a place to sleep, there’s no reason not to stay here. The staff watched our bags for the afternoon while we walked around Invercargill, which was nice.
Small, friendly camp. Some may find the system for using the showers a bit of a challenge but we enjoyed our stay and will use again
Close to town, can be quite busy. Good kitchen and common area, limited showers and the lights go off halfway through. Friendly local cat
This camp is old and looks shabby. It's clean and the ablution block is good. It could look way better with some TLC. Pull the weeds out of the guttering and create a garden.
