Many thanks for a wonderful evening it was our golden wedding and the little extras were greatly appreciated. All our guests were really impressed with the meals, service and atmosphere. We have been many times before and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend here for a great evening out.

Everytime we have been it has always been a lovely dinning experience. The Team at 148 On Ellis are so friendly warm and inviting. I believe 148 On Ellis is the best Restaurant in Invercargill. My wife and I had a wonderful meal and table service for my birthday last night. Have been a few times since moving to Invercargill and have always enjoyed the experience. Well done team.

Service was first Class along with the food.
Only problem was the steep stairs. But I would put up with that just for the food.

Superb. The owners are so friendly, ambience great, food excellent. Small extra touches make all the difference. They remembered us from years back (not often in Ingill these says). Don't often write reviews, felt the need to do so this time. Highly recommended.

A fabulous meal and experience here. The food was amazing - world class food and service. The atmosphere was sophisticated but relaxed and the wine list and cocktails were top quality & presentation. We cannot wait to return again.

Great food and our server was amazing. How she managed a table of nine without writing anything down is beyond me. Yes the decor leads a lot to be desired but the food makes up for it.

The food was absolutely wonderful the vegetables were fresh and delicious while the meat was cooked perfectly, the environment was great it was well lit without being overpowering and it had a nice view.

Yet again a very enjoyable evening. Nice setting. Great staff and service. Excellent food. A wine list to die for, and very knowledgeable waitress who could discuss and advise appropriately on the wine.

Very good hosting of our large group. Totally on top of what they offer. Food tasty and generous portions.

Very good atmosphere. Old style house modernised inside. Really good options for menu. Great size meals. Options of Seafood, lamb, vegetarian (one only) venison. Steak. Will come back her again.staff all vaccinated. Plenty of meal options.
