Disgusting! Male toilets had fecal matter spread all over the front of the seats and floor
footprints of fecal matter all throughout shower/toilet block

Maybe some educative signs to help fight certain cultural hygiene differences may help
Couldn’t find a way to contact them to clean it after office hours

Location is good though

This property is neglected nice location but badly in need of cleaning. Felt sorry for international visitors finding this place so dirty this is not who we are

Good location very poor levels of cleanliness. All toilets were very dirty and dishes area/ basins all dirty. Sauna is tiny and only fits two people. All pools were broken. Wouldn’t recommend using the oven unless desperate as not very clean. TV doesn’t work. Staff may be new to the area.

NOT A PREMIUM PARK- the hot tub isn't actually included.it costs $30 extra on top of your site fees and has to be "booked. " SAD!

EDIT: They claim it is not advertised as being free but it is clearly listed as a premium location on the TOP10 map with no indication that it is NOT free. No one in their right mind would assume they must pay for a pool /hot tub if its included in the location description!

Backpacking since more that 1 year, I always honestly ask to pay to access the shower. This time, I had a no because “they are too busy”. I decided to check by myself and none of the showers were occupied… Of course I left it as I found it, and I left a $5 bill on the bench in the hand of destiny. The caravan park looked very friendly and clean and nice hot showers, they are just bad at business.

Rooms were adequate. Ablution blocks were very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Every one was friendly. Had a great stay, visiting with our friends.

Clean and comfortable; staff very helpful. Nice location, easy walk into town. Would come back again - hopefully try a hot pool next time [as they were all booked]

From all the camping we did in NZ this was the best equipped one - big kitchen with maaaany cooker stations, sandwich makers, toasters, outdoor grilling stations. Free modern and clean hot showers with hair dryer. Free car wash station.washing machine/dryer 4nzd each, with iron available. And it’s all almost in the center of the city next to bars and restaurants, great place.

Loved this holiday park. Very nice staff. Brilliant park and powered sites and very reasonably priced hot tubs which make for a nice evening.

Best site/park we have stopped at over past 2 years travelling in our mororhome here in NZ.
On a par with DeBretts, Taupo.
Everything about it is faultless.

We will keep returning and recommending it to everyone.

A former top 10 member campside. Indeed a 5 star campside for a 5 star price. Walki g distance 5 minutes from Centre of city and a perfect location to visit the nature in the surroundings

Clean place. Hot tub too hot (no controls). They did park you in close, but not sitting about on the campsite.

Great 4 day stay at Getaway Te Anau, lovely location by Lake Te Anau, clean facilities, friendly staff, highly recommemded!

Overall nice camp site, however kitchen was not very clean (hood seemed not to be working), our spot was close to the playground which was nice, however also next to car wash, showers/toilets and kitchen facilities hence quite noisy.

Very poor unfriendly and unsatisfactory service. We paid $30 to use the spa.however the next day we came to use the toilet they have charged us $50 snd hsve called the police! They have manipulated us to pay they the last money we had snd then refused to give me a Receipt.

They cram you in there nice and tight but the facilities are exceptional. Clean, spacious bathrooms are complimented by a big kitchen and an adorable game room for kids.

WiFi is solid and they have hot tubs (although I think that coasts extra). Great stopover for our one night in Te Anau for our camper van.

We had one room units with bathroom, both units were clean and in good maintenance. Staff was very friendly.

Great place, everything is cleaned and the guest feels look after and free at the same time. It is expensive though.

Cabins with beds and table. Shared kitchen, toilets and showers. Due to crowds, quite noisy, no privacy.
