Lumsden Camping Ground reviews
28Well, we are the only ones here. Yes, facilities are a little out dated. But for the price you can't complain. $15 per adult $5 per child plus $5 for electricity. Also we had a last minute change of plans.
Great place, clean and very tidy, and showers, toilets.
Has water, but to my knowledge, no dump station.
There is plenty of room large vechiles.
Powered sites.
Lovely custodians.
Very beautiful and quiet spot. Facilities clean but a bit outdated. Friendly owner. Really recommendable.
Nice tidy camp ground, good facilities, and cheap too. So far best camp ground I’ve stayed at in South Island.
Relaxed vibe, lots of space, good clean facilities. Owner very friendly and helpful. Good value and handy for those rocking up late as you can pay camp fees over internet banking. Also llamas in adjacent field!
Small and quiet campsite. Have it but need it, shower, kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer. In addition, it is cheap.
Awesome camp ground! Great facilities and friendly service, affordable prices and definitely will be back
Typical camping of old, hard for these guys to complete with the big guys unless you support them
A very neat and tidy camping ground.
It was a pleasure to stay and Friendly owners. Camping the way it should be. Will definitely go back. Cheers
Excellent, great value for money ($12 for one person per night) and well presented & clean premises. Note: showers now only available to campers. Not luxurious but meets all the basic needs. No additional charge for showers.
This.is a great place to camp. Very friendly and helpful owners. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Very nice camp ground with kitchen and hot shower. It costs $12 per person per night. Great value.
Fine. We stayed 3 nights. Quiet, close to shops etc. John was busy making adjustments to bits a nd pieces so we weren't out and about.
Its was lovely very peaceful showers toilets and kitchen very clean and tidy lady owner just fab.
Spacious park with great new owner. The best camping spot that we found between Te Anau and Queenstown
Very cheap place to camp. Plenty of space for our large camper van. We arrived at 1.45pm New Zealand time and left the following morning to continue our journey around the beautiful South of New Zealand.
Good and friendly place. Hot showers in good condition, fair price and sufficient common kitchen. For 12 NZD a good deal
A great basic camping ground we had a big group staying over Christmas and were welcomed warmly our pets were also welcome. The lady caretaker is hard working doing some big hours and making sure everyone had everything they needed. Close to the river walk to town and plenty of space for kids. This may not be the most modern campground but worth 5 stars for its cleaniless, caretaker and has everything you need well done Lumsden Camping Ground you have some long term visitors.
Only stayed for a shower. Lovely lady took the $4 per shower. They ask to keep them under 10mins. Nice big kitchen, with cooking supplies, and sinks. There is also a laundry $4 per wash or dry load. $1 for washing powder. Showers and bathrooms were clean, good hot water. One shower was broken.
Big open grassy space for camping, powered and unpowered sites available I think. $10 pp per night. Check out it 12pm sharp.
