Food disgusting only got half the order. Would not recommend this place to stop and eat at

Food was mediocre, service rather offhand and toilets were closed the whole time we were there, except for the one disabled toilet which had a queue the whole time.

While we have stopped for a bite to eat at Beechwood while traveling through Murchison on many occasions today I was extremely surprised when paying for a scone and a coffee to eat on the premises to have to pay an extra 50cents for a small packaged cube of butter, not even enough to spread on the scone. This is a principle complaint not a financial one. In saying this the scone was very nice.

Lunch here, twice in 6 days. Very pleased with the whole experience.
Food was great and the service really good.

Good range of food, Coffee not the best. Helpful, pleasant staff. Toilets clean and tidy, plenty of car parking.

We had a holden club cruise of about 45 - 50 people. Was very impressed with the service. Quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. They even had some lovely gluten free foods.

I do enjoy stopping here for a breakfast or morning tea.

Lots of yummy food to choose from.
Coffee is good too.

Always stop here for a refreshment break. No cheese rolls the day we went. But they did have nice pies and cheese scones. Great tarsealed parking area. Ideal for motorcycles

We arrived just after 3.00 in Saturday. Staff were behind counter, food in cabinets. One diner sitting outside. Staff member watched us try to open locked door, then we walked around to other door.she watched for a minute then yelled out “closed”. No sign saying open or closed. Service =0. Definitely not impressed.

Great coffee and fluffy for the boy. The best however, is that they have a secure playground area outside - absolute lifesaver after a long drive from ChCh! For that alone they deserve 5 stars!

Good food great service and place was spotless even with a huge crowd of motorcyclists there when we arrived.

Hands down the best sausage rolls we've ever had. We stop here every trip for coffee and sausage rolls. Could only manage a picture with half a sausage roll left haha, to good to wait!

Very obliging and helpful staff. Arrived at the end of the time for closing and was told to come in. Very appropriate, as a lot more followed us in. Nobody was turned away. Prices extremely good. Service was excellent and table service is second to none. 5 stars all around.

We stopped specifically here as it looked nice. The bacon and egg slice would have been great if it wasn't barely heated in the microwave without any care and then literally thrown over the counter at me! I couldn't have a smoothie or milkshake without having it in a coffee take away cup which wouldn't have been too bad had I not been expected to pay almost full price for half the amount of product! And as for the service.the young lady that served me after making me wait a full 3 minutes standing at the counter.was rude and had a worse attitude than teenager when she is angry at not getting her own way not impressed at all. Only gave 2 stars as the food tasted great. Maybe change your staff or teach them some customer service skills.

Better range of food and toilet facilities as well as parking. Don't know why I hadn't visited earlier. Will go back for sure.

Great selection of food and lots of seating options inside and out. Particularly grateful that the insulated drink bottle we left at our table was so promptly posted home to us! Thanks!

Staff & service my pie was great the coffee and hot chocolate were were not very as ordered

Only ham and chicken sandwiches. Lots of other ham things. Nothing vegan or vegetarian that was savoury. Very odd. Lovely building though. Nice if you want sugary treats. Reply to owner - None of those things were there when I was there, and was not told there were other sandwich options, I did ask and she did not offer those, and only offered toasties.

Don't really pay attention to customers orders or customers as a whole was barely anyone in their n took 10mins for someone to actually serve me.
