Mean feeds! Had a breakfast burger, was one of the biggest and messiest burgers Ive had in a long time! But very nice and really good coffee too, and partner enjoyed her Blat sammie. Really good cafe choice in porirua!
I had the breakfast burger and it's been on my mind ever since. It was tasty and filling and I didn't feel sick after eating it. There is plenty of cabinet options, especially sweets. We choose the rhubarb shortcake every time. It's also great to see Reo Māori signage on the menu
Two of us were here on a Sunday over the lunch period. We were just wanting a snack and coffee. We shared a delicious savory muffin and a date scone - loads of dates. The cabinet food looked amazing and very very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and very efficient. Would thoroughly recommend.
Food was delicious and staff were super friendly. Being able to eat and then stroll through the gallery was awesome.
Will be my Breakfast hangout now compliment to the Chef & all the Beautiful Staff top notch service Hallelujah Praise the Lord
07/09/22 Went in for a caffè mocha and catch up with a earlier work colleague, warm atmosphere, very busy, customer service was great.situated inside the Pataka Art & Museum also the Porirua Public Library, the public toilets have also had a renovation since the last time I was at Pataka a few years ago.
The Staff are very helpful happy & cheerful, The service is very relaxing & helpful when you need to discuss business with associates, There is a lovely delicious selection of food to taste & the service is excellent Thank you
Cafe entry from the Norries St only.
Library and the Pataka Art + Museum building have been under going some construction works.
Visited for brekky and wasnt disappointed. Staff were very friendly and the food itself was remarkably satisfying. Gets a bit crowded when busy but overall still a good experience.
Understandably Kaizen Cafe is very popular. I had smoked chicken and chorizo stack - it was very delicious. Coffee suited me and the staff was friendly and helpful.
What an incredible experience. First time eating here. Overall the food was delicious. Serving time was fast. The prices very reasonable and the portion sizes were more generous that most cafes. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. There was a delay between my food and my mums so we got a free wine. I would give this café 6 out of 5 it was that good. And I'm usually quite conservative when it comes to reviews. Thanks again to Kaizen. One of the best cafes in the greater Wellington area that I've been to.

Great customer service with a smile and laughs, lemon cake (spongy soft and just the right amount of lemony favouring, wasn't needing a sip of water/milk afterward: D) and chocolate brownie were delicious, enjoyed the mocha too (for a large, it seemed like a regular size) but other than that was a great cuppa, wanted more hence the mention of sizing:)
Went in to today. Glad see that they are taking Level 2 social distancing seriously. Staff polite and cheerful as usual.
Excellent grasp of level 2 social distancing rules.and yet you are still able to.deliver quality food. You are a great example for the rest of the country. A must visit for our PM Jacinda. #@jacindaardern
I've been to Café Kaizen a couple of times now and the service has consistently been very good. Their coffee is great and the food is tasty. I have also been there when they were rather busy but the waiting time was not long at all. The staff are also very friendly, A+.
It was the best customer service ever we were greeted in our own language Te Reo Māori and we're ask if they said it right, then we even got told we could say our order in Te Reo Māori and they would do there best to understand kamautewehi
What a lovely little Cafe. The food is wonderful. Just a couple of things annoyed me. 1st, the dress code is not nice at all. Very untidy. 2nd is we watched the person cleaning the tables. Firstly he wiped the table then the chairs, without changing cloths he went onto the next table. Not very clean practice. I really enjoyed the food though. Tasty & vibrant
