Cafe Lokum reviews
64 Good service, very friendly Ahmet.
Food-yummy.
Very good original turkish baklava.
Nice atmosphere.
We will bring our friends.
Cheers!
Absolutely great experience. Spent $15 & walked out with a drink, seasoned fries & the biggest kebab.
Friendly service, clean environment, excellent value & quality. All consistent, every visit.
Hands down THE best kebab I've ever had, full of the good stuff. Only complaint is, I don't live in Petone so can't eat here all the time.
I love this place
Oh my word, the food is awesome, servive is great, and the meals came out fast, definitelycoming back.tomorrow, no wait dont come here.at all.keep it a secret or everyone will want some.
Amazing food. Went there for the first time today and the food was upto the mark. The owner and the manager were really nice and welcoming. Will suggest if someone craves some authentic turkish food.
Some of the menu items weren't available and you didn't know which until after you'd ask for it. Portion sizes seemed small. Although tasty.
This place has improved, and the food is v good indeed while the staff and service are clearly better and friendlier than their opposition over the road.
It is now our preferred Turkish in Petone
The service was quite slow, but worth a wait. Ordered iskender rice, it was very good and has generous amount. Definitely Come back for more.
Generous serving. Fresh and tasty meal. Intimate spaces.also bigger tables for the whole family.oneday.
Good value for money. Great presentation and variety on a platter. Pleasant service. Food was delicious!
The cafe is not so crowded and can go there without any prior booking. The food was good but not the best in town. But if you are looking for a place to eat peacefully with good quantity then Cafe Lokum is definitely worth a try.
It is a nice Turkish restuarant run by real Turkish people! The dishes were cooked in a kitchen near the front of the house. The dishes were of good portion size but not such that you might overeat. All in all a good meal.
Good food.cozy.family friendly
Delicious taste for good price
Highly recommended
Six of us went there for dinner on Friday night. The shop was packed when we get there. Food was really good as well as service. All of us were happy with what we've got. Good job girls. We will definitely be back.
Yummy, reasonably priced Turkish food. Great service. BYO only, no on license.traditional gooey cornflour Turkish delight. Lovely place.
Had the shared grilled meat platter. Very tasty, juicy tender meat. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for money.
Friendly staff, and a good range of items that can be tailored to meet special dietary requirements (keto/vegan)
Friendly owner who remembers my previous orders as I work through their nom menu. Authentic and fresh
We have been coming to Lokum for a few years, it never fails to deliver good quality, affordable, and wholesome meals. As we are regulars, Karen always remembers our orders. Last week, it was a friend's birthday lunch. Karen (the owner) surprised us with special dessert on the house. Delicious mixed grill for only $17. Where else can you get that? ! Everything freshly cooked/baked on the premises. Well done, Karen!
Food is pretty good. No corkage so is a fantastic place to go for a BYO with a group of mates. Staff were friendly and food was pretty quick
