Great place for a buffet kai, when one ates not enough.
Kainis on point and the settings nice too.

Consistently great food, and excellent service. Would highly recommend for an unexpectedly great meal at a very reasonable price.

I went to get Chinese food for dinner on Saturday night at the Jasmin all i can say is its a bit expensive but worth it the food is delicious.

Always wanted to try this place. Because it is hidden and almost down the side of an alleyway with not much advertisement. Blink and you will miss it type of place As far as entrance goes. This to me added to the quirk of the place. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the buffet lunch, there is hardly any food there as they don’t fill up the trays as most places would. But they do let you know that there is anything you would like and they top up the tray for you with notice. The food didn’t look that appealing either but once I took a bite at everything that was available for me I was in Heaven.the food and the flavours was fresh and scrumptious it really exceeded my first judgment upon seeing the display. And the food was extremely authentic. What a lovely hidden Gem this restaurant actually is. The atmosphere is abit outdated but it’s very clean and relaxing. I just can’t get over the taste of the food. So much so that I had to ask if they cater to parties etc WELL DONE TEAM

I've gone to this Chinese restaurant twice and had fried rice with shrimp in both occasions. It tastes fresh and delicious. Friendly service too!

Jasmine is hidden upstairs in an arcade off Lambton Quay. It is unassuming but has some of the best pork dumplings I have ever eaten. The staff are very friendly and recommended some great dishes to try. The food was fresh and high quality and the price was very reasonable.

Don't know whether it's their trick but they never fill their trays all at once. And you will have to wait indefinitely which will kind of make you feel "I am full or I don't want to keep waiting for the food".

What a suprising place to find in the heart of Wellington. It reminded me of a Chinese restaurant I went to in San Fran, great food and all you can eat buffet smorgasbord.

A favourite Wellington food stop for me. Stuffed chicken wings followed by the Cantonese Sizzling Steak is hard to beat. Modest surrounds but amazing food at great prices.

We stayed for the weekend and decided to have Chinese for the night. Picked jasmin because of being close to ibis hotel. Had the best fresh chinese meal that I've ever tasted my wife enjoyed it also. Service you could not fault.

Real nice place, got a choice of either buffet or menu and all real fresh. Food was awesome, great flavors, sizzling hot as well.

Busy restaurant in the James Cook Hotel to the lifts. Wide menu and really well cooked foods very helpful around dietary concerns. Lovely flavoured foods. We enjoyed eating here.

The service is not very good. Also, they handout the takeaway in a brown paper wrapper, not a bag, so have fun carrying your noodles around like it's a pizza.

Service is slow and dismal. Wonton soup and ho fun over salted and bland with regards to flavour and spices. Dumplings and pancake is average. I would say this food is not a good representation of good Chinese food and recommend prospective patrons seek other restaurants.

The best chinese meal we've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and light. You could tell they used clean oil. Staff we're lovely, food excellent, a really treasure.

The incorrect order was delivered after a brief conversation the manager changed it to what was originally ordered. Very nice meal. M

The food is good but goes out quickly and takes some time to fill it up again.i liked the noodles, fried rice and the lemon chicken

Service was good as were some of the dishes, especially the fried rice. Other than that, most of the food was decent but not special, which was a disappointment given the pricier menu.
