Low quantity & quality food… they add more of chips… Very expensive… Not recommended….

Kebabs use to be good, one I got today was full of salad and very little meat. Hardly any sauce either. So was stingy on that front.

We love Kebabs and after just moving to Petone, we went to kilim
for kebabs and what a disappointment, big chunks of chicken and it was really hard, almost broke our teeth and the flavours were not nice, will not go back at all.

Nice place! Very good serving. I ordered lamb Guvec. Was yummy but the salad need some dressing.

Very upbeat and fun ambience. I'm having the choccy cake served at my funeral.

- scrap that, very disappointed to see the chocolate cake is no longer on the menu. Have since moved from wellington and was in town so thought it was the perfect opportunity to go visit kilim for choccy cake and dinner and was so very upset about this. Changing 5 stars to 3.

My favourite place to go to for a decent meal. Always busy, so book ahead. Have tried nearly everything on the menu!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Kilim serves excellent Doner kebabs. I ordered 3 for my family and they thoroughly enjoyed the food! I recommend the sit in or takeaways to healthy conscious people! This is the ideal place!

Great food and ambiance. Also one of the few places where I can leave with a satisfied stomach without emptying my wallet.

I got the falafel salad, it was the best ive ever had! I always seem to find most falafel to be too dry, but the hummus soaked it up so well i was in heaven! I came here with my friend the other day and have been wanting to go back since! I usually dont eat that much but i ate all of this salad non stop it was so delicious! Super nice seating layout, lovely customer service, gorgeous and tasty meal. I cannot stop raving about this place!

OVERALL: 8 / 10. VALUE: good portions, average price range. SERVICE: fast and efficient. FOOD: good flavour, however takeaway salads are pre-made and not in refrigeration. AMBIENCE: a bit noisy, ok for families and groups. *Reviewed takeaway salad bowl.

Received our mains, ate a few mouthfuls of rice and salad and then realized the meat was cold. We asked for a replacement dish and then was told we had eaten over half the meal and all they could do was microwave it.

I have found a new family favorite. Perfect vegetarian option as well. The Spanakoita was outstanding as was the baklava. Waiting staff were friendly and food was fast.

Great food, always busy and popular. As well as great food appreciate that they give their staff a living wage. Plus food comes wrapped in biodegradable packaging.

Like other recent reviews, Kilim was great and known for its salads, ours was mostly just wilted brown lettuce, meat was crispy and the waitress wasn't interested in customer service. When we asked her to put our leftovers in a takeaway container she said no we don't do that and gave us an empty container.okay. There are other other options for Turkish food now.

First visit to Kilim, busy place on a Tuesday night with very few tables spare. We had to wait about 10 minutes for menus but once ordered meals were brought quickly.
I had the lamb gucha, very tasty. Loved the tomatoes in the dish, very hot but not spice hot. Meal came with small bowl of rice and another of salad.

Had dinner there and it was good and ordered apple tea but it was too sweet but tasted good. I get that they tried to make it like a turkish vibes but it's decent the only problem is the space it's too small and noisy
