Wrong charges charged for take away as per online menu for food, and same prices charged for takeaway and dine in. Always every restaurant dine and takeaway charges was different, when told manager about that still they charged wrong not give money back
They charged for one Roti $5.50 but actual amount online menu:
$3.50, so for every one bread they charged $2 dollar extra, not recommended anyone about that visit worst services and lying with customers and ripped them,

Are you serious guys? $5 for mini kuchumber salad not even for one person, it looks like you guys just gave us your extra chopped vegetables and saved your wastage. Things are getting expensive but not that expensive you can just rip off your customers. Sell that for $2 or improve the portion.

Panner Tikka Masala explains itself a dish which should have roasted panner with onion and Capsicum gravy.

You are selling cheap cheese tomatoe as Paneer Tikka masala and that also sweet.

Your chef needs to be aware of authenticity of Indian food.

We tried to go for dinner on Sunday night at 6.30/7 it was obvious there was a party in one side of the restaurant. However the other side nearly empty. We waited at the counter to be seated While waiting there were a number of kids running around bumping into people. We gave up and walked out after 10 min as no staff came and spoke to us.

Very disappointing. I am not sure if there has been a change of chef or owners but it was very disappointing. Our garlic Naan was doughy with blobs of flour and the garlic on it was burnt and bitter. Our paneer dish probably only had about 7 very small pieces of paneer. I wish I took a photo to show you but by the time we realised those 7 tiny pieces were gone and we were left with a full container of the base sauce. They aren't cheap so you feel really robbed when you pay for something and the quality and care is so poor. Especially after we were debating whether to get take away or not.

Extremely overpriced…
CBD prices for pretty average food and you’ll be waiting forever.
Almost an hour with just one other group in the restaurant.
They also have about 3 car parks otherwise your walking up the long drive.

If I could put Zero I would! I ordered the mix platter for 27$ and what a disappointment it was, chicken and lamb chops was dry as hell and looked like they had no more tandorri chicken so they slapped some paste or whatever it was on it quickly, the lamb chops same dry and tasteless I couldn't chew it and had to spit it out and I dont think its suppose to be lamb chop but land kebabs, the 2 samosas tiny and looked definitely frozen and the onion baji same tasteless and dry I tried to let the manager know about it and they said they cant do anything about it and this is how it is period, I'm gonna try to put photos on there but I'll never go back there again, in comparison chili masala in lower hutt is cheaper for the mix platter and its massive and very very tastefull, so yeah do not go there you will be very very disappointed

Will not be Ordering from them again, made my husbands mild korma so spicy it was inedible and my curry only had 4 small pieces of paneer in the whole thing when we made a complaint they said they would give us a credit for one of the dishes only and would not offer a refund even if we brought the food back in.

I have been a regular customer for a long time and usually get a take away 2-3 times a week. The order is never ready at the given pick up time. And if by chance today it was ready on time, I got home to find out that I was missing my naan breads from the order. If I was to wait another 10-15 minutes every time i turned up, what is the point of having the online order service?
Extremely disappointed with the service. Never coming back to your restaurant again.

Would give them 0 stars, but have to give 1 to be able to put a comment. Worst service ever. Can not believe these people are in hospitality industry?

Naan was raw and when I mentioned it to the worker, they gave an explanation of how they had to go through another supplier rather than making us a new one. Also the malai kofta was too salty and watery. Wouldn’t go back again

Their Butter Chicken literally tastes like sour cream. It lacks flavor, lack of salt or sugar. Would avoid this dish. Also for the price, the amount of meat is average.

Food was disgusting. Staff were polite enough.

The vegetarian starter platter for two consisted of what looked and tasted like supermarket-bought food. The texture of the Samosas felt like eating a brick.

Then we got the mains.

My chicken Madras was as far from a Madras as it could've been. To make matters worse about 50% of it was oil. I could literally dip my spoon in and fish out a spoon full of oil just from the top alone.

Staff were informed and they made a new curry, which is why this place is receiving 2 stars. Sadly the new curry was tasteless and overall not very pleasing to eat.

Sorry Little India, but you need a new chef.

P. S: The drink sizes are tiny here. Most other Indian Restaurants we go to give you double the amount.

Food is ok but they never answer the phone. It's almost the same experience as calling an Indian call centre where they put you on hold and make you listen to Bollywood music.

I am big fan of little india in Napier and Hamilton, but the Wellington one was not so great. Manager was quite good though.
