The perfect 3 course dine-in experience. Outstanding service. Magnetic ambience. Delicious food. Must try.though not for penny-pinchers.

As usual a wonderful place to relax enjoy a great meal, fantastic service- attentive but discreet service. A must if you have never been there. Semi set menu lovely, great choices to chose from, especially the paua ravioli, simply beautiful. Ps Thursday was the night we went well done guys

Absolutely loved every aspect of our visit here! Amazing service, our waiter Pietro was helpful and so lovely. He made our night! The food and drinks were delicious - the paua ravioli was particularly good. We will definitely be back!

Tired and stuffy. Boring, rich food with no interesting flavours. Pretty unpleasant wines on the pairing (mostly crazy sweet despite ordering 6 different courses so getting 6 different wines). Reasonable price for the kind of food on offer but overrated and unimaginative. Beautiful building but absolutely no atmosphere to speak of. Friendly service but not good service. Left feeling pretty disappointed.

We had the best dinner. The courses were all amazing. Lots of different flavours. The staff were fantastic as well. Highly recommend for allergy sufferers. We emailed and sorted everything out in advance and they were really helpful. We wanted a date night before our first baby is due but weren’t sure if it would be possible. They were excellent at working with my wife’s allergies and pregnancy food restrictions.
Thanks for helping us celebrate, we had a great evening

An absolutely incredible dining experience! Super lovely and intimate atmosphere, and absolutely beautiful food. The whole experience really lives up to the hype, and honestly, that paua ravioli really is just fantastic. Every course was put together meticulously and with each component chosen carefully to make truly amazing dishes.
On top of all this, the service was some of the best I've had. Wonderful rapport, super kind and accommodating to any requests and questions.
Pietro, thank you for making the night such a funny and enjoyable one. Congratulations again!
I cannot recommend this place enough.

It's still an iconic restaurant but I feel it's definitely gone off the boil. Serving sizes are smaller and flavour profiles are less distinct than previous visits. We did this same menu a few months ago and the portions and flavours were completely different.
The wait staff were awkward and seemed stressed even with a half empty restaurant. Logan Brown needs to lift its game to get into the "must visit" again. I hope they do, as the building itself is a neo-roman styled marvel. Simply beautiful and very unique in the Wellington foodie scene.
The iconic paua ravioli was tasty but a single ravioli just wasn't enough.
The beef cheek was good but there are quite a number of restaurants doing similar dishes and this one was good but not inspiring.
The sides were small, the mushrooms were delicious, the Brussels sprouts were okay. The truffle fries were a struggle. Poorly plated, ungenerous in portion, and simply the wrong cut.
I don't want to sound like I'm dissing the LB because I've always been a fan, but things ain't what they used to be.
Forget the dumb slices of bread,
Go back to the dinner rolls.
And don't be so tight on the portions.

It's been about 20 years since I was last at Logan Brown. And I decided that as it was our 15th wedding anniversary I thought this would be something different and memorable. Logan Brown mostly delivered. We had the 7 course degustation, with matching wines. The kingfish oka, Paua Ravioli, and lamb shank were on the money as was the dessert. But the cheese selection was okay but not great, and the pork was really poor, my wife's was badly under cooked and inedible. As was another couple we spoke to. Was surprised that Logan Brown didn't offer a free coffee or so much as some money off. Our main server was bright and engaging young man, though interestingly when we were settling the bill, the front of house never asked if we enjoyed the meal. Some of the courses were very very good, but sadly some others weren't. Also some of the wine matches were underwhelming. Wanted to give it 9 but couldn't justify more than 7

This review is about 4 years late, however I remembered that I promised to leave a review and just never got around to it.

My friend and I had easily the best degustation experience we have ever had here at LB.

We flew up to Welly from QT for my birthday and were one of the later customers to dine, yet never felt like we were being ushered along.

The food was nothing short of spectacular with service to match.

To this day, it is still up there as the best experience I have ever had.

Thank you team for an unforgettable experience that I still froth over 4 years later hahahaha

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! So many good reviews, but my birthday was completely ruined by the unprofessional rude staff. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS.
I chose this restaurant because the place looked like a good restaurant according to the reviews to celebrate such an important occasion. I came to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was 6 of us, everybody was in a great mood, we came here to eat, drink and celebrate, but. The server didn't offer a drink menu until we asked, behaved like we owe her something, took a long time to take our order and on top of everythung they ran out of oysters when people were still coming. My dad spilled his wiskey and she didnt even offer a napkin or another glass. We actiually had to ask a bartender to get us one more glass.
I was expecting a really good everything based on the reviews and menu prices, but the food was just ok, the service was really bad and the ambience was not pleasant either. It feels like you are at some train station or something.
Definitely not coming back.

The Saturday night express menu was amazing. It was a highlight to the Pre Wow experience. The bread, melt in your mouth salmon, fish that smelt amazing on arrival so tender. I didn’t want to finish eating the panna cotta it was so delicious and was recommended by the waiter. Great food with accomplishments and great service. Thank you.

5 stars - on the top of our list of places to eat - we will definitely be back

The customer service as well is just as good as the meals. You get what you pay for here and they are well worth the price tag

See you guys again on our next trip to the windy city

The salmon entree was particularly good! The Brussels sprout side dish surprising! Reasonable price for beautifully cooked food - food most of us are unable to do at home! We were in Wellington for one night and chose Logan Brown which proved to be a great choice. Sure, it is expensive, three courses and four glasses of wine, but we felt it was good value.

We had the bistro menu 50pp. The entree and dessert was lovely but our mains were disappointing.the duck and fish were over cooked.tough.the waitress was good but we were not served bread prior or with our entree. I think the staff could do eith more training.

We chose logan brown for our wedding meal as we wanted to eat somewhere special for the occasion (there was only me and my now husband too)

The food was absolutely fantastic and like nothing else I have ever tasted. I'm pregnant so I did have to swap out some of the ingredients which was no problem at all, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in answering my questions (unpasteurised cheese and seafood) we ended up having 6 courses as we also had the cheese course. Every dish was like an explosion of flavours and I couldn't fault any one of them. The lamb and pork were out of this world! We also ordered a cake (chocolate mousse) for 2-6 people, I expected something small but wow the cake was big and absolutely delicious. They boxed it up for us to take with us as after 6 courses we were pleasantly full. I would highly recommend logan brown, the food is out of this world and the staff are awesome

We went in for lunch and decided to go with the bistro menu. The food was excellent and amazing value at $50pp. We were very pleased with our experience the only thing I would say was that the staff didn’t seem to have that much training in fine dining but this is understandable seeing as we went for lunch at midday so probably would have been better at night. Overall would definitely recommend. We enjoyed Paua, a Jowl, and the Venison; the latter replete with a testicular-shaped money bag that proved edible. Delicious and great service.

Undoubtably one of the best fine dining experiences I have had the privilege and pleasure of introducing my tastebuds to. The service hosts are impeccable and the atmosphere a decadent delight of yesteryear. The presentation of the food is a pure sensational delight that engages and heightens one’s senses to the maximum level, then delivers on its unmentioned promise on every aspect from sight and taste. The combination of flavours, textures, ingredients and anticipation delivered on every key note.

We chose Logan Brown for a fine dining lunch because we hadn’t been for a long time. Our previous visit a year or so ago had been a little disappointing. Not bad, but not to the standard we normally expect, so we had avoided it for a while. We were extremely pleased that the quality was again ‘top notch’. We chose the bistro menu. The salmon entree was fabulous. My friend chose the duck while I had the fish and we were both very impressed. Deserts were both fine. Excellent service too being very pleasant and not intrusive.

Just gotta give this a 5 star. The whole experience was amazing - from the emails regarding requested changes regarding dietary requirements to the birthday cake ordered. The staff are very attentive and so friendly and informative. Great food knowledge. Yep - it is a little expensive but well worth the experience. We had the five course degustation and the paua ravioli was very nice but my dish of the evening was the venison. All five of us really enjoyed the evening and the ‘dietary’ issue was handled so well. Already planning a return. Thanks
