Ordered mango chicken, got butter chicken. Not ideal at all. Maybe when I order mango chicken, I get mango chicken. But that's not what happened, not even close: (

Been there for Dinner and it was disappointed experience, very poor service. Will think 10 times before going again. They served test soggy chicken drum, although curry was good.

This is gotta be one of the better better Curry houses Wellington has to offer. I recommend the onion Kulcha the chicken Jalfreze Indian hot. Wash it down with a Kingfisher. The service is very good and it shows the owner really has his heart in this.

Extremely disappointed with the chicken lollipops not only were they very very tiny but bland and dry not worth the $13 i paid. Not sure if it was just a bad night or what but the photo says it all!

Table of four. Waited one and a half hours for food, went up and complained, and 15 minutes later we finally received this. One pitiful entree, and it’s missing the sauce. Sat and watched all the menulog/Uber orders fly out the door though. We’re still sitting here as I write this. Don’t come here.

Had lunch with my sister the other day. The food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely come here again with my family:)

Very disappointed in the management here. We made a reservation nearly a week in advanced only to find out the restaurant has cancelled this less than two hours before our set time. At the time this was not to my knowledge as I had rushed straight from work which was more than a half hour drive away to get there. Upon arrival we found that a group had booked out the venue for some form of function meaning we could not dine in. I am assuming that this would have been booked far more than a week in advanced as it was a large group meaning they never should have taken our booking in the first place. We attempted to speak to the staff who were rude and dismissive and they essentially did not care about the hassle they had put us through. No one offered any form of solution to help the situation, not even an apology was made. At the very least I would have expected to be offered the same option of a takeaway considering we were already there and had been put through significant trouble. Another group also arrived at a similar time to us and were also sent away. Overall this management is disappointing. I would expect an established business to be able manage their bookings correctly. I do not recommend that anyone goes here, don’t waste your time or your money.

I don't know why it has such a low rating, I think it's great, I have had some vegetarian dishes and it's really good, staff are really friendly, helpful and they will give you a good recommendations. They should stay open for longer at lunch time.

Nice staff but management priortise takeaways over dine-in customers. Be prepared for over an hour wait

Dined here recently with family (group of 5). Waited over an hour for our food. Staff was polite and did their best to assist us but management was horrible, Rude to staff and did not prioritize dine in customers. Manager reeked of smoke - very off putting. Wont be coming back here, food was average. Dont reccomend if i could give half a star i would.

We recently organised our Wedding Ceremony in Tulsi Petone and it came out to be one of the best venue in Wellington. Authentic Indian Food, lovely staff, great communication, massive space to plan any kind of event. We had a gathering of 50 people, each and everyone praised for heaps of food being served hot and on time as well. They also added that it was the tastiest Indian food in Wellington.
Mohit being so kind and a helping hand personality made it all easier to happen. Everything was planned and organised with reasonable rates.
Enjoyed a lott! Highly recommend for upcoming events?

The venue is spacious to do any kind of event, staff is highly trained to make it a memorable day for you. Mohit made our event as a Private function which turned out to be the best thing to enjoy with only your family and friends.
Heaps of food provided with delicious Indian flavours.
Would highly recommend for any upcoming events.

Overcharged on an advertised price by a fair amount, Very inconsistent.very watery and had 2/3 pieces of chicken, basically watery tomato soup and they ignore spice requests.

I tried the supermarket fridge one and it wasn’t even remotely similar.
If you are a chain, you should really be the same across the board.

Tried there Currys very nice and awesome presentation. Would recommend to go there and tried there different type of dish.

Ordered Tulsi via DeliverEasy and was disappointed to find that a $23.90 meal does not includ rice! It needs to be ordered in addition to your main. I feel this is well over priced compared to other restaurants that would included rice with each meal. Aside from that disappointment, the food we ordered was okay but I would go elsewhere next time.

Always good food. Lots of space so you won't have to worry about just turning up. Friendly staff.

I had a dinner at Tusli petone with my family and friends. My experience this time is entirely different from my previous one. We ordered: paneer tikka, mushroom tikka, fish pakora and lamb seekh kababs in snacks, and makhni daal, kadahi paneer and malai kofta in main course. Everything was delicious including dessert - mango kufli (a must try) and naan (spinach and garlic). Portion served was appropriate. Hospitality by Mohit was amazing. I will highly recommend Tulsi petone especially for vegetarian curries (I have not tried many non-veg curries, yet). We will come back definitely and will try non-veg curries next time.

Been there a couple of times now! The food was exceptional, staff was very friendly, location was great and very big and clean/tidy restaurant. Very good service and truely indian flavours and good portion too. Thank you and we will be back soon

Worst customer service ever seen in my life, ordered a Kingfisher strong 500 ml and he brought me 330ml premium beer and after I refused to have it, Guy at the counter put the lid back on to the bottle and pressed it so he will sell it again, feel sorry for the person who will buy it and drink it. Uncooked food.
