Although the wait and line was long, service from the ladies at front desk today 06/01/2022 was awesome. And the men checking WOF were awesome too, I had my kids with me (who are autistic and impatient lol). But yall bomb as, thank you.

It's a handy location, helpful people at desk. The wait time is always long, not sure if it's standard or just because of social distancing due to COVID-19.

My Dad who is almost 60 years of age was waiting in line before going into the store around 4: 44pm, finally when it was his turn the Indian guy said He had to leave because the time was now 5: 01pm… he was not listening to my dads situation at all, My dad told him it is their responsibility to let us (the customers) know that they won’t be taking anyone in after 5pm while we are lining up, instead of making them wait, they need to warn them that they will not take anyone in when after 5pm even if they have been waiting in line for almost 20 minutes total, total waste of time and poor customer service from AA Mt Roskill that guy was unhelpful and very arrogant. I hope management really sorts this out as it is quite frustrating. As his eldest Son hearing my dad go through that makes me very upset.

Went for a Warrant of Fitness. Only 4 cars waiting but it took over an hour to get the Warrant. Obviously short staffed and not bothered about it. As an AA Member I paid $60.00 and got Smartfuel Points to save $2.50 on petrol. So, probably an avoid and go to the myriad of cheaper places about with no waiting time. My Bridgestone Tyre people texted me with a $35.00 offer, so I will use them in a year's time. This experience reflects the steadily falling service standards with the AA, coupled with ever increasing prices, and now I use none of their services except the Breakdown Service.

I work at a medical centre and received a complain from a patient for processing driving licence renewal application with an error in it despite querying. Applicant who is a pensioner was told that she will have to pay in full for another licence. An unnecessary hassle that could have been avoided by someone putting thought into it

I paid $180 for the pre-buying inspection and then after I had the mechanical work done I came back to have it rechecked for $30. After getting the all clear from the "mechanic" I drove away excited about my new car.
During the weekend I took it for a long drive and noticed a very loud ticking sound when I would brake. Upon removal of the wheel, I found the caliper housing to be loose because the caliper pin was missing! I called AA and it turns out I paid $210 to have someone literally LOOK at my car, tell me it is okay and then send me off to drive around a very unsafe car. They also said there's nothing they can do about it. Extremely disappointing and a complete waste of time and money!

Very poor service charged me for WOF carried out inspection. Informed me that car failed on unequal foot braking on back wheels. The small Toyota is front wheel drive. Very unhelpful I am 73 years old and was told to go and get it fixed. I drove across Auckland to the Midas garage I use. They checked the brakes left and right on there diagnostic machine and gave me a signed print out to say the brakes were within normal tolerance. I went back to the testing station and they would not read or comment on the report and left me without a WOF and no suggestion of course of action. The older gentleman was quite rude and I didn't know what to do. I am not impressed my family have been AA members for years including 4 cars insured. Not any more I can assure you if this is the way you treat people. I am not in good health and I expect a little respect and not being subjected to bullying. Shame on you AA

Reception area is kinda departmentalized, where one staff member will happily try push you over to another window instead of providing a prompt friendly service. I would never return to this place if my life depended on it.

Very slow service at front desk. Seems a waste to have the workshop waiting for warrant applications to process when they could be moving cars through. However, the workshop seemed efficient and processed the car efficiently.

I hope uber labels (red stickers) should not be put on panels instead on window glasses which made me so hard to take them off. Frustrating

Very busy place. Went for a WOF which took a bit of time. The person who took our car through was a bit curt which was unnecessary. Also in previous times they have always scraped the old wof off the windscreen leaving it nice and clean but not this time. I had to scrape a lot of remainder off before I was satisfied enough to attach the new warrant

Appalling service. Waited in queue for 20 minutes while filling in form to get replacement driving licence. On finally reaching the counter were told they were not processing drivers licensing now because they had too many other general customers. Told to come back in 1.5 hours. Several other people in queue also had to leave. Should not be so under staffed that they have to treat customers this way. We could not come back so had to drive over to New Lynn branch only to be told that they would not take a certified copy of a birth certificate as ID. The whole point of a certified copy is it should be accepted. Complete waste of our time, as had the Mt Roskilll AA actually bothered to serve us we would have found out then.

We brought our 20year old campervan for a WOF. The Van is in a very good condition but failed WOF here beacuse of a esthetic reason: it has a Little Bit of Rust at The roof. We asked The mechanic If The Rust is safety relevant and He Said "No, but you never get a WOF with it"
So If you have a old, Not pretty Car you are wrong Here. Make WOF somewhere where they Look after The safety relevant stuff and you will get WOF.

One star for the office staff

FIVE stars for the workshop team.

Went for a WOF, am a regular. Was moderately busy and I can appreciate the impact the Covid-19 disruptions and regulations have caused.
However I waited for over 25 mins just for the WOF sticker! People both for WOFs and other services came after me and went. I asked a customer service lady could I get it as I was still waiting (after 20 mins) she said she'd check then went and served someone else, didn't get back to me at all.
It took a workshop team member to notice I was still waiting to get it for me, to his embarrassment - he was professional, apologetic and brilliant.
Not good enough, customer service and being able to prioritise needs some work. Really disappointed.

No one ever answers the phone. I have tried calling over two days at different times and no luck. This is not good customer service and action needs to be taken to sort this out immediately
