We initially were referred to another installer in Auckland but was disappointed after 2 months they couldn’t do the install. We were than referred to Albany Heat pumps. A quick call and they gave us an appointment with 48 hours. Inspected and quoted same day. We confirmed the works and they installed with a few days. Responsive and quick with good advise. This is the second time I used them, The team at Albany Heat Pumps did a superb job each time! First time it was a service due to some funny noises from the unit, Taiko was quickly and professionally found and fixed the problem. This time installed two heat pumps, Matt discussed with me to find the best way of installation, everything has worked out so well. Certainly will use them again and no hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs the service.

Taiko has resolved our historical issue with the Multi-unit Mitsubishi heat pump. We previously hired another company from the Shore, but they didn't even open the outdoor unit to check; instead, they insisted that the capacity wasn't sufficient and that the unit needed to be replaced. Obviously, that wasn't correct. After visiting the home show last weekend and leaving our contact details, Taiko called the very next day and came over the day after. This was very efficient. Taiko not only listened but also thoroughly inspected everything. More importantly, he knew where to check and attempted a few ideas that actually fixed the issue. This saved us from having to replace the machine. We are impressed with his knowledge and experience and wholeheartedly recommend Taiko.

Retrofitting an older home sometimes poses more of a challenge compared to installation in a new build, but this did not phase the experienced Albany Heat Pumps team. The Albany Heat Pumps installation team arrived on time, were polite, respectful, super-efficient, problem-solved on the spot, and took extreme pride in their workmanship. They kindly helped set up the Mitsubishi WIFI Control App on my iPhone and even cleaned and tidied up before they left. Our three new wall-mounted Mitsubishi units are modern, whisper quiet, and super easy to use (love the App). Taiko and his team were professional and kind. I compared quotes and I felt their service is what got my business. There was a small glitch/miscommunication and they rectified it quickly and fairly which is a sign of real professionalism after the sale and invoice was paid.

I called Albany Heat Pump to get a quote for installing a heat pump. Taiko arrived the same day. He was courteous, explained about the different options we have and advised us on best place and unit for our house. On the day of installation, he and his worker arrived on time, installed the unit, and showed us how to operate it. They worked in a clean, professional manner. We can whole heartedly recommend their service and prices.

From the initial investigation and quote all the way to installation and final cleanup, these guys were great. AC install can be a daunting process and it was made much easier with Albany Heat Pumps.

The guys at Albany Heat Pumps came up with a great installation idea for a tricky area. Very good to work with.

I obtained several quotes - prices were all very similar. What swung me was that one of the owners answered my enquiry and arranged to visit and quote one hour after I had made contact.
The installation was done by two Albany Heat Pump's staff members and it was obvious they had done this type of installation many times before as they were super-efficient.
Overall I cannot fault the service or the installation but there was no follow-up from anyone at the company after the installation, which would have added a nice touch.

Professional and covered off on the salient points easy to work with. Installation went like clock work, very neat and tidy, cleaned up and vacuumed nice. Some instructions on operation and down load the WiFi app onto smartphone awesome.

Very good, thorough work. Good information skills from beginning to end. All people involved highly professional and friendly. Absolutely happy they did the job!
