Very professional company, and I'd recommend to anybody who wants a professional service. Quick and tidy installation at a reasonable price. They even went the extra mile and installed a specially sized Toshiba floor console for me to make sure it fit in my tight apartment space.

Really happy with our heat pump, we chose a Mitsubishi AP50 as Albany Heat pumps offered the best price in town. Communication was a tad sketchy to begin with but Matthew arrived on the day advised and did a great job. We plan to install another smaller model in our bedroom later in the year and will call these guys again.

Great prices and very prompt response and delivery. It arrived within 24 hours and had to be transported from Auckland to Hastings! The price was the best I could find.

We had a difficult job in the sense that the house was narrow, three levels, and not always entirely conducive to heat pumps on the upper floor. Body corporate approval was also required.

Most heat pump installers we approached would only site visit when it suited them. Of the ones who came, only AHP (Todd) bothered to look into the fine details of planning out the installation through climbing into the roof cavity and doing a detailed look outside.

They worked flexibly with me to gain BC approval, responded promptly (inside 10 minutes) on BC's proposal regarding drain placement without demanding more $$, and came up with a solution that met our needs whilst keeping BC/neighbours happy. All without demanding a cent before BC approval or install whilst backing themselves to get the right approvals and holding an installation date ahead of the Christmas period.

They were also 20% cheaper than a chain heat pump installer whilst providing the most up-to-date indoor Mitsubishi units unlike the other lot, which tried to sell me discontinued units.

Needed our heat pump to get serviced. Took about 2 weeks to hear back from the company before they came.and refilled the gas which cost about $400. Serviced the heat pump too but only for it to stop working 2 weeks later.

Have bought 4 heat pumps from this company and yet they can not even reply to a request for a service to fix the wi-Fi control on my heat pump. Follow up service is non existent.

We have an older home that we have just recently moved into and found cold and damp. We firstly got Albany Heat Pumps to put in a GL60 Mitsubishi heat pump and found it made a huge difference to our living conditions, we were so pleased with it we decided to do the entire house.
Because the house is quite big we decided to go the whole hog and put in a ducted heat pump system that vents through the floor and its been life changing the windows are dry and the house is warmer and dryer everywhere. It is very economical to run so now our guests (we run and B and B) are more comfortable and we don't have to worry about them running the heaters all night. The service was quick and efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very pleasant to deal with!

For the 2nd year running we’ve purchased a heat pump from AHP as they impressed us so much the first time and their after-purchase care was second to none. This year, we couldn't go past the wifi option (AP50) for the convenience of being able to operate from our phone - love it! Such a great savings measure, not having heating on (at the moment) when not at home.
Todd, Christine and Taiko are a really professional team; from providing a wide range of options and sound advice to providing a very efficient and friendly service. Their products are competitively priced too and installation speedy! Would highly recommend:)

We have used Albany heat Pumps Twice. The first time they fitted a full Ducted heatpump system to our home, it was wonderful, so cosy.
The second time when we moved to a new home which had high sarked ceilings so could not have a ducted system, instead we had a very large heat pump for the living ares and a smaller one for the Master Bedroom.

On both occasions they were prompt, efficient, and very nice to deal with and suprisingly inexpensive when compared with other suppliers. We would have no reservations about recommending then to any prospective customer.
