Amano reviews
72What more do I really need to say about a Cafe if I think the coffee is great and the food is delicious. Nothing else matters after that. Yes the staff are friendly the atmosphere is lovely. But who cares, everything I've had from Amano was delicious and as long as I live near by I'll keep going back.
Fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and interesting menu. Breakfast cocktails were great, but let down by the food.
Amazing. One of the best meals we've ever had. Fresh ingredients made into amazing food with huge depth of flavour. You neeeeeed to eat here!
The food was incredible. During my short stay in Auckland I went to Amano for breakfast and dinner and loved the food both times. The waiters are friendly and attentive. I initially had an unpleasant interaction with a rude host which I mentioned to the management of the restaurant. They quickly addressed the issue and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience the next time I went to the restaurant.
The hype is real. Top notch service, food was impeccable. The dessert was the surprise, that Espresso & mascarpone trifle was so damn good! Keep doing what you do, I wish other places in Auckland were like Amano, well done:)
Great food and excellent service. Good for all budgets having both the bakery options and a la carte.
For the bakery: anything with puff pastry is amazing. Friday mornings they also have special pastries.
The tua tua spaghetti was not bad, Lots of clams which I quite like
Also tried the burrata was quite special and taste good
Boyfriend really like the focaccia
Nice customer service and deco
Amazing experience! I had dinner at Amano yesterday with a friend and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Special mention to Jason who went above and beyond to make us feel like special customers! Can’t wait to go back
Service: 5+ stars
Food: 4.5 stars
Beautiful restaurant which offers incredibly attentive service. They were happy to take our bags (we were on our way to the airport) while we ate.
We had a few items off the menu but the aria Tua Fritta was my favorite (order if you like dill). Oysters were also beautiful!
We arrive 30min before our booking and we’re accomodated immediately.
Payment was quick and effortless (although PayPass would be a great addition).
Booking recommended.
The food and drink is amazing! Highly recommended dining here whether it be with a group of friends, family members or that special someone. They do group bookings and also take walk-ins as this is a very vibrant place. Limited Paid parking is available just outside the restaurant or across the rd at the britomart public parking for $20.
