I originally want to book service on last Friday, but was told no loan car is available. Therefore, I booked the service Tuesday today with loan car, then, when I was here I was told There is no loan car with my booking and no loan car is available.

Careless mechanic, replacing part like untrained.
Need to go back to mechanics course.

I took my car here to get a warrant which failed due to wearing bushings in the suspension. When I asked for a quote to get these replaced they quoted me $1343 for just 2 rear knuckle bushings and then quoted me $882 for 5.5 hours of labour.
This is a complete joke! I bought reputable (Hardrace) aftermarket bushings from Redline Performance for only $275 and then had them replaced by a mechanic with 30 years experience (Steve Denton Automotive) for only $415 (including a warrant).
How can you possibly justify charging over $2100 to replace 2 bushings? That is twice what it cost to get my Cambelt and Water pump replaced at Toyota Greenlane.
It is appalling that you tried to charge this. I would hate to think of the amount of people you have quoted these prices to and they've not known any different and paid it "just because it's Toyota"

Came back to this branch on the 5+ club offer after many years (discount and free WOF offer). In my view, definitely had a much better servicing with the Manukau franchisee (different owner). Brought my car in for the service - was quoted differently in person than CS team (odd), invoice is unclear in terms of discount applied, still had the old address on invoice (despite providing new one), car not ready at appointed time of pickup (despite calling earlier - waste of time in Auckland traffic), whole experience felt rushed by the service team (perhaps lose the headphones and talk directly) and rubbish left in the car after service. I have zero doubt that mechanic did excellent job, but customer service needs work, especially when Toyota servicing comes at a premium compared to other providers. Did the whole post service survey and no followup calls/emails so kind of missing the point. Not sure if I will be back again.

Good service. Managed to get a good deal on a signature range car. Had some moisture in the wing indicator lights and rear brake light. Car was under warranty so they replaced it free of charge. However, wasn't happy with the courtesy car as it was very filthy.

Good dealership. Spoke to Alexander, very knowledgeable sales person. The only problem is that there is almost no room for bargaining any more. At least the carpets aren't considered an accessory nowadays.

Worst customer service. The service adviser (Varun Manek was very rude, no technical knowledge, if you ask any questions the guy will say what return on the sheet will be done and the other thing I was also fooled by the complimentary wash and vacuum. My car was not vacuumed, it was exactly same as I left before the service. I asked the service adviser that I wanted to meet the manager, he was smiling and telling me that you can go and complain to anyone. These guys or not professionally and properly trained and do not even no 1% of what is customer service. I complained to the Service Manager - Scott Woodhall, he casually told me Greenlane branch is near to my home you can do your next service there. This shows how professional these guys are, if the senior people talk like this, what about the other people working under him? Anyway waste of my time and they are not going to change as they are after money and not a service. I want to mention a quote to these guys to be consciously thinking.

A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption on our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider on our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.

And for the other people out there.

I do not recommend this AUCKLAND CITY TOYOTA MT. WELLINGTON BRANCH to anyone for service as they are not reliable, unethical, unprofessional and worst customer service.

Edit: Toyota replied offering to fix the situation, added 1 star.
When here for a recall on my 09 Prius. They got the job done seemingly. They did not, however, complete any compilmentary wash, which I did request l. Also, I found a black grease smudge over the rear seat. Customer service was good though.

Wouldn't give me service history for a car that I had just purchased because apparently I wasn't the one who serviced it which is false as the north shore city branch gave it to me. Poor customer service and not very knowledgeable.

You can bay Toyota cars anyway in the country but you don't get a good customer service everywhere like Auckland City Toyota provides.

Best service! Yeah they are over priced but hey it comes with the service and also they fixed everything that our previous mechanic said "they fixed" now both our vehicles are running brand new. THANK YOU SO MUCH. A very happy customer

Bought a new top of the line highlander in may 2014, was told the car would be three months to a month away. Every week after July i had to visit to get an update on when the car would arrive. Could not get any reliable answers or even calls returned. Never heard back from the dealer once the car eventually arrived at the end of November. The radio was giving me lots of problems, i took the car back to service and was told i would have to deal directly with Toyota. Several months later the windows developed a crack because of a stone hit. Smith and smith where terrible as well as this dealer, "windscreen cannot be replaced as it has a lane detection camera". Insurance company and family members recommended Thames valley toyota and Tony richard toyota, rang them explained the problem radio was ordered, windscreen ordered via smith and smith local agent, no sweet. Now drive my toyota an hour and half down to Paeroa to get it serviced every year, they follow up to make sure i am happy with the work and the car is running well, they have made modifications like putting the lane detection switch behind the dash as its default location is easily disabled.would not recommend this dealership at all, and highly recommend Thames and Tony Richards Toyota.

Some of the staff are really good. Good place to get your toyota cars serviced. Prices are slighty above normal for the parts.
