Our builder (allied Property Maintenance) recommended Elite. We visited the showroom, and it was fantastic. Super busy, and great stuff in there. After being there for, say, 30 minutes getting our head around the range, a young guy (I'm allowed to say that - I'm an old grey beard!) called Cavan McEwan asked us if we needed any help.

Cavan supercharged our visit. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful we had full confidence in his recommendations.

Within, say, 45 minutes, we had agreed on a full house load of showers, baths, mixers, and mirrors. Yes, there was a little more work to do over the next few days as we firmed things up (mostly us doing the odd site measurement), but within what seemed just a few seconds, we had everything paid for and delivered. And a full schedule of technical drawings as well!

Super impressed with Cavan. And Elite. We have done ALOT of rebuilds and renovations, and I can assure you Elite and especially Cavan (whom we only met on the showroom floor) were a pleasure to work with. Definitely 5 stars!

Definitely recommend the team at Elite bathrooms. Their knowledge and expertise made the whole experience stress free. I just showed them the look I liked and they filled in all the technical gaps. We love our new bathroom!

I submitted a review of an item I purchased (and returned due to the build quality). They have not posted the review online despite me prompting them several times and them saying they would, 'it just takes time to verify'. That was last year. This is unethical conduct and according to the Commerce Commission, not acceptable: "customers must be given the true picture. Businesses may be breaking the law if they collect and, or present reviews in a way that misleads customers" (see Stuff, July 25 2019). In addition, they refused to refund the item as it was 'damaged' which IMHO wasn't true. When I got it back, it was condition-wise fine. I would avoid this company.

Received wonderful service from Georgia yesterday. She listened to my brief & showed me through the options.
Was delighted to find most of my requirements were in stock and could be collected straight away which was not what I had experienced elsewhere.

No stars from me, well only one as it wont let me post the feedback without one. Very disappointed in Elite after being a good customer for many years. We bought an Orbit shower from them as part of an order to renovate a bathroom which was installed two years ago with a 10 year guarantee. Shower has a crack which the rep says is very likely a manufacturing fault that has only shown up now because of the shower being used. Elite tell me that they will not warrantee the shower because I should not have installed a faulty shower, so it is my fault, and I am on my own. How can that be. The fault was not visible when installed.

It took a while but posting the review got me some help. Elite agreed to replace the liner which was done problem fixed. Without the power of the people I don't think anything would have happened. Thanks elite for putting it right.

Returned 2 LED mirrors to the warehouse where the staff member checked them
while I was there and said that they are fine and not damaged so I can return them. 5 minutes later after leaving the warehouse I received a msg from the staff member who said one of the mirrors is damaged, so I can now only return one of the mirrors.
I feel disappointed with their process, I should be refunded for returning them in a good condition.

I had online order after few times visiting the show room. I took assistant advice to get the corner shower waste for my upstairs shower, unfortunately, the builder said that there wasn't enough room for plumbing. I contacted ELITE to swap, they said that they would not swap it because there was 10cm opening on the cardboard package, I had to order another one. And then I found out the handle was missing on the downstairs shower pack. My understanding is that its easy for Elite to resale the tray, it is standard size.

Great showroom that offers a great choice of bathroom fittings. Friendly professional knowledgeable staff that helped me navigate the many choices available. Good at dealing with replacing damaged or incorrect orders from their nearby warehouse too

Wow it was busy here on Sat. Good place to see lots of different brands displayed in one space. And if you're lucky the lovely young lady makes a hot chocolate for you. It was most welcome on the wet day!

Sadly, I purchased most of my bathroomware via Elite Bathroomware (East Tamaki, Auckland) for my new house build. They have no idea what “customer service” means and I will never buy another item from this outfit.

I’m extremely disappointed with Elite Bathroomware for not refunding us fully for returning a bath that hadn’t even been unpacked, but was recommended by one of their salespeople for our new build. Our plumber informed us that the bath was unable to be fitted in our bathroom, hence the reason we had to return. We then needed to find a replacement bath, which the useless girl at Elite Bathroomware was unable to help me with. I ended up contacting Plumbline directly myself and got a bath shipped to Chesters (with no obligation to buy) and ended up buying it anyway.

I also ended up buying my extra bathroom items I needed from Mico and Chesters. Both of these companies were far better to deal with. Not only were their prices cheaper, they both delivered excellent customer service.

Be warned if you’re thinking of making the most of Elite Bathroomware “special prices” when they advertise. Sometimes the customer service and after sales services is more important than getting a good deal on the day.

My advice would be to use Elite Bathroomware’s showroom to view items and get some ideas, but when you’re ready to order, go elsewhere to purchase!

Incredible range and service. Both ladies who looked after me were so helpful and took their time with me. I wish I’d come straight to them from the start and not wasted time with other suppliers. Highly recommend.

Update: second time round I found the customer service fantastic. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I was shown lots of different options and even scored a sale bargain! They have a huge range to choose from. Worth checking out.
