I do not advise choosing this company. Initially, they provided false information when I joined, claiming there was no contract and that I could terminate service whenever I wished. I admit fault for not thoroughly reviewing the contract before agreeing to it. However, now that the agreed-upon term has ended, I have made multiple requests for them to contact me to cancel, yet I have not received any response or acknowledgement via phone or email.

Excellent service online is very easy and simple to navigate through the process of booking, and my instructions have met my expectations. The communications were excellent. Highly recommended.

Called atleast 10 times still no pick up. Promised pick up multiple times. Contruction delayed due to this
I do not recommend anyone using their service.

So far appalling service and not holding up to their online health and safety policies and have no idea when to call as recieved a call before 8am as this was my day off at work you would have thought they would have called a little later and will be updating this review once spoken to the transport managers superior.

P. S. I hear the zoo are wanting their inhabitants (Gorilla's) back.

Still waiting for a response from the Sloth as moves so slowly should get a kangaroo to do the job as would be a quicker response time.

We have tried other flexi bin companies and Green Gorilla is the absolute best. Great communication and fast collection. Won't use anyone else! Cheers:)

I booked 19th Jan, have email to confirm, but it is already a month no one come and pick it up, I call in and even been told my job not in their system, I am recommend not use this bag again

The driver is so rude and rush! Broke my water pipe and no apology! Very bad experience!
The company not doing any help!

I have used a lot of bin companies over the years but this has been a refreshing change. Professional service online and over the phone was already a bonus, but the drivers' courtesy, communication and timeliness has been a real point of difference. (Multiple bins on this project)

Really disappointing. It seems that the company is having real problems keeping up with demand at the moment. They were not able to deliver or pickup on either of the days that I had booked, even though I booked three weeks in advance.
If there was a reason for this, such as staff shortages due to Covid, I could have been understanding. But they made no attempt to contact me to let me know they couldn't fulfil the order. When I contacted the company in early afternoon to confirm the skip would be delivered as booked, they told me that the skip was already on the truck and out for delivery to me that afternoon. This turned out to be untrue. When I complained the next morning they refused to try and get it to me before 3pm even though it was a day late already.
This is the worst customer service I have experienced in NZ and I don't say that lightly. We did get good service from one of the drivers who responded to our SOS call when we were desperately in need of pickup (and the company had redirected all calls to an answerphone 40mins before closing time). Unfortunately that was not enough for us be able to have confidence in Green Gorilla again.

Green Gorilla driver backed out into oncoming traffic from pak n save Mt Albert. Drivers had to take late evasive action to avoid collision. Eventually the driver pulled back in after he became aware of the dangerous hazard he was creating. I understand that it's a tight spot but have patience and COMMON SENSE or someone will be seriously hurt or killed. Happened at 29/08 at 650am.

Really poor service which caused so many problems. Every 2nd week for rubbish pick up it is always a no show. I can tell the driver just do not give a F. Please hire more professional to improve your service in the future. HQ staffs are nice and well trained, but the actual service itself is so bad. Bin is full and no pick up when i ordered it in a week in advance? I have to wait till next week for them to operate in that area again.waiting a week attracted so many flys and worms on site.imagine what i have to go through every 2nd week. Randomly charges you extra without any follow up description on what it is. I have to call and email so many times to actual find out what it was charged for. "overweight".

I’ve had really bad experiences with skip bins in past years. This time I’ve ordered a gorilla bag.
I picked up the bag from Mitre10 for 180$. Weight limit was 1.2 tonnes and it’s the best price in the market for weight. Filled it up and booked in for a pick up online on a Friday night. They picked up the bag on Monday early morning. Hassle free and love their prompt service. Will be buying again. I don’t understand the negative reviews on them, bet it’s for the domestic bin collection service.

If they run their business like a woman who GOT OUT OF HER CAR and verbally assaulted me who was driving a sign written car, because I beeped and took a picture of her car to report once homevwhen she slammed on her breaks "to say hi to her work friend" driving a truck in the other lane. After doing it already, slamming her breaks and driving erratically and "saying hi" to a woman standing in the medium strip, 30 seconds beforehand. I would NOT recommend. Safety should be of utmost importance and clearly ISNT for these guys. The red Holden you ALSO slowed down to talk to after verbally assaulting me for 5 minute's (after the light turned green), before you turned into countdown greville, was very kind to me at the next set of lights, he sung "my girl" to stop me shaking from your verbal assault.

You showed a very stereotypical KAREN type mentality, that I wouldn't be proud to work with or receive services from.

Terrible service provided. Clearly wrote down on online booking, "plz give 02XXXXXXX a call before arrival and we will open the gate for you. " However, no one called me on the collection day and now the reception asked me to rebook online again! No apology and no sorry instead of keeping saying they have hundreds of bins bags to collect everyday. I assume that they don't really care about individual customers because you are only one of hundreds. By the way, I booked Monday collection and they came three days early on Friday.

Very poor customer service. We ordered a skip for 4 days. It was delivered in the evening of the first day, and collected by 8am on the last day, effectively giving us only 2 days use. Tried to rectify it with the company but they were completely unhelpful - both the people I spoke to on the phone & the driver. Will definitely not be recommending to anyone.
