Few months ago, the agent James helps me to find a good room in 11 Union Street. He is warm and kind. He gives me a lot of advice for choosing the room.

I was with them for 8 years, it was good at the beginning, and they even sold an apartment for me. But I noticed recently things have changed, their previous customer service manager left, in fact her husband who sold my apartment left as well as their daughter, the owner now himself is the customer service manager. His agent managed my unit and ignoring the rotten gutter kept on urging me to repaint my external wall, despite me telling the agent it was painted 3 years ago and a professional painter evaluated it and advised me that it only needed water blasting. The agent also urged me to pay over $800 to do asbestos test, while a builder later on told me it only cost under $200, and I DO NOT HAVE ASBESTOS CEILING OR ANYWHERE INSIDE THE UNIT! What's more, the agent authorised a decontamination fee which costed me over $7k without advising me the cost. I can only tell the fact here, they used to be good, but aren't managed by the same people any more.

Ridiculous letting agent. Started off the hunt for our apartment on a good foot. Pleasant agents who allowed us to change apartments after paying a deposit. However, there were problems that were not fixed throughout the tenancy and they tried to charge us soooo much and make deductions from our bond. Do not stay in the Cook Street aura apartments - you will not sleep with the loud pipe noises and 3am fire alarms. We took impressions to the tribunal and won our case and only had to pay back $14 (even though we admitted we owed at least $50 in bills that they failed to direct debit from our account). They don't know what they are doing and act without morals and common sense when things go wrong.

Unprofessional service.
Disrespectful attitude.
Late responses.
And overcharging for overall absolutely unacceptable service - if that should even be called as service.
Worst agency I’ve ever had in my life and I would never recommend to anyone.

We were extremely pleased with Lucy Wang. She worked tirelessly to help us with our purchase and gave us service beyond our expectations. Thank you Lucy. The other aspects of our purchase went without a hitch.

I've Used Impression for several years. They're very professional, friendly and excellent caretakers of my property. They ensure that my apartment is rented 99% of the time at probably the best going rates in the market. Kudos to the Impressions team!

Avoid at all costs.

Look at the reviews, they are all either 5 stars or 1 star. Massive red flag.

I ignored it and still went with them. Having rented through many agencies, particulars.and in many countries, I've never had an experience like this. Trust your instinct and avoid them.

If going through this real estate I would recommend to work with Property Manager Karan. He's been so helpful and made this process so easy for me.

We had an extremely bad experience with Impression and I do not recommend this agency to anyone. They tried to make us pay for damage that we did not cause. They were unprofessional and tried to take advantage of us, probably thinking that we do not know our rights. Fortunately we had photos from the first day we moved in to prove that the damage was already there and after a visit to the tenancy tribunal, we got our bond back. My advice is to take as many photos as you can when you move in and document every damage you find and don't be afraid to go to the Tenancy Tribunal - they really care about tenants and will help you, also avoid this agency if you can.

Do not rent anything at this company! They are too slow to solve any problems. If you need something or if something is wrong or broken when you move in you need to pray for them solve the problem and wait months.

Attended an organised viewing of a flat but they never showed up so that was a waste of time and money!

Landlords do not give this company your properties to manage. Zero Stars. Ainsley Lewis does not reply to any emails or texts. Their adverts do not have details. There is no complaints department. Absolutely shocked. No customer service.

This company does not care about providing you a comfortable tenancy, they will not take action to repair problems swiftly. I was told not to make any changes to my apartment such as drilling holes in to the wall, so when I needed blinds to provide privacy in my bedroom I was met with attitude and unhelpfulness. It took over 3 months for anything to happen despite me consistently paying rent on time and being in constant contact with impressions. If you are told you get a free mattress protector with your furnished apartment, PLEASE BE AWARE YOU ARE BEING LIED TO AND FINESSED. Upon the end of my tenancy I was then charged for my complimentary protector as I had left hair on it. $45 for a measly strand of hair. Unless you are bald, proceed with caution.

This is the worst experience ever, dealing with a real estate company, in my life! We came from US and was settling down in Auckland, when we got with Impression for our 1st Apt in Auckland.
From the very beginning, the property manager was very rude and unprofessional. Whenever we needed some maintenance fix - it was a nightmare to ask him for help. If we asked their office stuff for any details, they would always refer to the property manager and never helped any other way. At the end, when we left the Apt, Impression charged one extra week rent in the excuse of final clean up activity. Finally they sent the invoice, and pointless to say - that pretty much covered the refund amount:)
We had a lot of expectation from NZ, and got really disappointed with this kind of service. I would never recommend anyone to this property mgmt. Hope someone else doesn't suffer what we had to: (

I was severely unimpressed with the level of service that Impression had given us while we were in the move out process at our apartment. The apartment wasn't in a great state to begin with but at that time we were in need of someplace to stay quite urgently. We had a few issues with it over the 7 months that we lived there and never received any support from Impressions. Upon our move out dates, when I dropped off the keys I went over anything that was left outstanding on our account and they told me that there was only one power bill left. I agreed that they could take that out of the bond. They told me that my bond would be returned at a maximum of 10 days. After 12 days of not hearing anything back I contacted them and asked what was going on. They said they are still waiting on a few bills to come in. One of which was for the lightbulbs, which i had change myself personally because they kept burning out because of the wiring and I wasnt going to wait for them to replace them. Next they hit us with a cleaning fee and the fact that we spend 2 days cleaning every skirting board/wall and window is just stupid. It was far more immaculate than when we moved in. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I havent recieved my bond back yet, only to recieve an email from impressions saying that they forgot about something and will be changing the amount that I get on my bond. These things need to be agreed upon by both parties, not just changed by one. Also, does it make sense that they can change how much I get back on my bond after its already been submitted? I dont think so. All in all the service by the property manager has been terrible and I am still waiting for my money.
