Excellent service! The owner was very trustworthy and professional. I was surprised how reasonable the price was compared to other places that had offered me considerably more quote for the same problem. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely go back to them!

Took the car in for two repairs which were covered by insurance, the guys at Main Auto did a fantastic job of fixing the damage but then they went further and did a number of touch ups (stone chips etc.) which weren't covered by insurance. Additional cost = 0!

My car looks as good as the day that I first got it - the guys at Main Auto well exceeded my expectations THANK YOU GUYS YOU ROCK!

Bloody awful service. The woman at the counter name Kim is freaking rude, no customer service skills at all.
I left my car for panel repairs, when picked up by my wife was rudely asked that she’s half an hour early for pick up by KIM.
I got home after work and checked the car was not even washed and the replaced hub caps were not even clean.
Awful experience first time in my life after so many car panel repairs.

I have dealt with the company twice through our insurance. The team from reception, assessor to the panel beaters are fantastic. Twice there were minor issues after the repairs and they fixed it promptly.

Having a courtesy car is definitely a plus. The second courtesy car's air conditioning was not working. Even that, 5 stars it is.

I hope I have no need to pay another visit in the future. However, if anyone needs an insurance claim repair (as I have done twice) this is the place to go.

This guys overpromoise and never deliver on time. The when delivered wasn't even groomed. Few things that were supposed to be fixed were still undone and keep extending the timeframes by giving excuses. Not recommended.

If there's a place to go to get your car fixed whether it be someone ramming into the back of you. Side of you.the front of you. This is the place. Been there a couple of times due to Muppets not being able to drive cept drive into me. Very happy with the workmanship on my car.

My company has been using Rob, Wayne and the lads for over 15 years now. I used them when they were in Church St, Onehunga, and followed them to there premises now in Penrose. They have serviced/repaired/panelbeated all my vehicles to a very high standard. Whether it was a quick service, or major engine rebuild these guys did everything.
Wayne runs the workshop to a very high professional standard, and no job is to small or big to him. His attention to detail is fantastic, and communication to myself and my staff excellent.
Rob runs the show extremely well, and should be very proud of his great team.
I can only highly recommend Rob, Wayne and the lads to anyone who wants a professional job undertaken, and a fair price

I’ve been with Main Autocentre Ellerslie for two years now. I had two crash claims in the first 6 months, they were timely, efficient, honest and on top of the repairs returned my car, cleaned and washed each time. The owner Rob even took me to work after I dropped my vehicle off. Since then ive returned for WOF’s, services and everything else. To top my review off my neighbour hit my car two weeks ago and so after my assessment and parts were ordered I dropped my car in yet again for repair. They replaced and refitted my new back bumper, groomed my car & returned it 1 day later! Yes that’s correct, 1 DAY! Huge thanks to Mike!

What keeps me going back is trust! Trust that I’ll receive the best service and trust that I’m not going to be ripped off. Thanks team Rob, Mike, Wayne and the lovely Kim, your appreciated!
