Mitre 10 MEGA Mt Wellington reviews
75Absolutely terrible service, will never ever spend my money here again. The store manager Raj should be ashamed of himself, actively encouraging his staff to discriminate against customers.
Customer service is top notch. I told the guy that I couldn't complete my order online and I only wanted 1 thing. He ran in and grabbed it and took my card and put the order through for me, And all contactless. Bloody legend
Today was a great shopping experience at mitre10 as I was served by two handsome boys Dylan and Imran who helped me whatever I was looking
I went to couple of places but these two boys gave me a alternative option which worked perfectly
Thanks again guys
Excellent click & collect experience 8-830 am 25 Sept slot. Arrived 0755, short wait then out by 820. If people stick to their allocated time slots, all will be good for everyone and the staff. Thanks Mitre10 Lunn Ave team - you're always fantastic.
Click and Collect was great. Staff loaded our pantry on to trailer, no trouble for the boys! Very happy with the whole deal. Mike.
Last visit is shop under covid level e lockdown by website click and collect, so drive through to pick up products, lockdownthey are very organise.quick and easy.
I can't believe their "contactless" click & collect involved me being handed a piece of paper from one employee at the gate and then I handed the paper to another employee down the collection area. Having said that, no one's taking this lockdown too seriously anyway. Plus their staff are always friendly.
This is always a popular place for local to shop especially Saturday and Sunday. The place is always well stocked. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The place is big. I always need to find a staff to help me to locate the item. I do miss the Columbus cafe inside the shop. I used to be able to take my family to go there for brunch. However, due to store renovation, there can only serve coffees.
One star based on my click and collect experience this morning. Arrived at 7: 58am and pick up opened at 8am. I saw no signs in the main carpark area as to where to pick up, and no instructions were in the email. I could see a line of 2 people at the front door in the photo. When I was closer I could see this sign as per the photo said 'collection point', and 'one click and collect customer at a time'. Upon lining up for 10 minutes, a second line was then forming with vehicles via the trade entrance, this line reached the road. At this point, those of us in the line were told to join the car line (of 50ish cars), and advised to view signage that was only being put out after we arrived. The person who told us to join the line was a bit rude, which seemed uncalled for. Clearly this was a line for some to click and collect, but not us for some reason? The employee was dismissive of our frustration. It feels rather disrespectful of our time, as it seems to be a simple fix, ie having someone direct vehicles to avoid confusion, adding signage right at the entrance, putting this information in the email or online.
A wide range of products and very helpful staff. I travelled here from the North Shore because they had a particular bathroom cabinet in stock that I was looking for. The helpful staff loaded it into my car for me.
I normally LOVE Mega Mitre 10's but NOT this one. Really, there was a staff member standing around and I asked her for help locating a small item. She didn't know, fair enough but the attitude left me fuming. The older gent who finally assisted was great, but the place needs a good service check because it failed on so many levels.
Most of the staff are not knowledgeable about the products or the store layout.worst part is they will say they dont have products if they dont know where they are rather than checking.must cost the business, mind you you get what you pay for.the big kiwi man was very helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and well engaged woth the role
Great staff were available and able to find the stock for us quickly and efficiently. Checkout not too busy.
Good place to shop. Their coffee shop is great. It is very relaxing.
Good assistance from staff in Building Supplies and Hardware section.
There are, in my opinion, more experienced staff on the floor than competitor Hardware mega stores.
Only one team member who was knowledgeable and helpful, tall, iwi chap who was very helpful, the rest of them were poorly trained or at least poorly engabed with their roles. They had poor store knowledbe and even less product awareness.lucky they had the one chap I finally delt with, he has been there since day one
We felt at home here, Love the great selection of indoor/outdoor furniture, power tools, indoor plants and a good café as well and Its a MEGA home improvement store, Excellent customer experience and they will be with you all the way to make your project EPIC like never before.
Had a staff member confront me about a screwdriver set I was thinking about purchasing, followed us around the isles. When I decided to put the screwdriver set back he accused me of stealing.
I have recently moved near this Mitre 10, and i have been in three times now. I really struggle with how much staff WILL NOT leave you alone and are constantly persistent. The first time i went a male member of staff tried to tell me that the shower head i needed was the incorrect one (more expensive than the one on offer) in order to up sell and never apologized for lying. Tonight i had the another guy ask me twice if i needed any help, and literally stood there glaring at me between the first and second time he asked me. I found his behavior incredibly creepy patronizing, i will be ACTIVELY avoiding this Mitre 10 from now on.
Went to exchange a bbq as the vent was faulty. The first thing the lady at the returns section said as I appoarched was a "Yeah? ". After I proceeded to state my situation, she delagates me over to her colleague Al which was the only redeeming factor of my experience there. He was extremely helpful and friendly. During our conversation about bbqs, we were interrupted multiple times from other colleagues who were double checking things with him. Man deserves the a raise. Can't say the same about his colleagues though.
On the 22nd July around 2pm I was out to purchase two toilet suites for my daughter's renovation. I drove from Mt Eden to Lunn Ave MITRE 10 Mega
The toilet I was after was not on display. I needed a measurement to the shut off valve as this was to be a replacement, and the wall is tiled. The salesman in the plumbing department was reluctant about everything as if it was a drag to serve me, as if it was on closing time. He wasn't very helpful at all. I found the item on a pallet in the isle close by. I needed to check a simple measurement, this seemed too much bother and was told "I had to buy the toilet once opened". I didn't want to purchase the toilets' and bring them back if they were not suitable. He left and went to speak to a colleague. The impression of the conversation appeared about me. His customer service missed the mark. I left empty handed, which was disappointing and will looking elsewhere where customers are valued.
