Food was great, staff always friendly, warm and make you feel at home. Very good experience.

Went in 4 brunch today food 10 out of 10 service tops cost of living has not done much to prices very affordable price for amount and quality of meals if u want a great dinning experience give Bruce and his team a visit

We had High Tea to celebrate Mums birthday. The food was lovely and the service was great. We would highly recommend for a special outing or just anytime but remember to pre-book. Loved it.

The atmosphere was so calming and great (went around midday) and the waiter/front of house was so friendly and nice!
My partner ended up getting the fish and said it was the best fish he’s had since coming to New Zealand! They also asked when we placed our order if we had any allergies right away:)

We have known Bruce the owner of the Montrose for 17 years. And has always made us so welcome, and if you want the best food prepared by him personally then the Montrose is the place. The best on the North Shore

Absolutely love Montrose's vibe and atmosphere. Throughly enjoyed my brunch here. The vegan breakfast was actually so satisfying. Always love the wall art and the great presentation.

The seafood paella and loaded fries was amazing for 2 adults! Good portion and very tasty.

We tried this bistro for dinner and we were very impressed! The food was beyond scrumptious and the customer service was exceptional! We ordered a few entrees and mains which were all very very delicious but the winner was the desserts for us.

The bistro was child friendly with high chairs and a kids menu and the staff were all friendly and accomodating to our needs as parents.

What really elevated our experience was the wait staff Noam and Tom. They were so friendly and provided exceptional customer service.

Stopped in for wife's birthday lunch today decided to try fish and chips ohhhh it was so nice the crumbled fish delish nice salad and homemade sauce yum as for the chips at last a eatery that can cook the perfect chips fantastic

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat-brisket sandwich, berry Danish and Brazilian cheese puffs. The brisket sandwich was one of the best sandwiches we've had in NZ. Brisket was tender and flavorful, filled with fresh veggies and avocado and the bread was fresh and buttery. The berry Danish was incredible and the cheese puffs were fun to eat.

Highly recommend Montrose Cafe. Service is truly amazing! Had coffee with a friend and young Georgia who served us was absolutely delightful. She was patient while we decided what we were going to have, she smiled and made us feel welcome. Impeccable manners. Although I only stopped in for a coffee today I wouldn't have 2nd thoughts about heading there for a meal. The menu looked amazing! Location is great too, plenty parking and very close to the beach.

Amazing Almond late, I specifically asked for one not to hot and the amazing barista delivered a delicious beverage and a perfect temperature
