An amazing experience at Scarlett Slimms and Lucky. Staff where friendly with the perfect amount of service. Food was delicious actually one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Must try steak and the ribs! Thank you guys will be back!

There is a circulating media post that a samoan/iranian lady with her maori partner were asked to leave their prepaid first table booking to accommodate for four white ladies. It has also shown that your response was that the couple should have been more understanding due to how busy it was.

Firstly, a first table booking is literally as it is spelt out, the FIRST table. There is no way in which a first table booking would be intruding with a "busy" schedule as the kitchens would just be opening. If there are walk ins that come at this time it's your responsibility to tell them that they need to wait till the next available table.

Secondly, if someone has booked a table beforehand it is their table. The only exception would be if they cancelled or did a no show within the 15 minute grace period. To ask a table of two to leave to accommodate a table of four just so you can make more money is just pathetic, very poor ethics from your end.

Thirdly, To Jimmy Manes; just because you have a diverse clientele and have hired staff of all races, does not cancel out the racism portrayed from a single individual, especially the working duty manager.

Ps. I hope all the one stars coming your way make you seriously reflect on what it means to be a business that serves ALL nationalities fairly. If fairness is not in your values as a business, we don't want you.

Honestly some of the best service and food I've had in Auckland in the long time, so glad these guys made it through all the lock downs with more and more restaurants closing down. Look forward to coming back soon with the whānau!

Went here as it was close to my new work, the staff were so friendly, especially the american waitress that served me with the tattoos was an absolute gem and made me feel incredibly welcome

Came for the fishbowls, stayed for the ambience and music! Super friendly staff especially the new girl that's studying med, she's so lovely. Cute little spot with good vibes, would definitely recommend.

Was looking forward to trying this place out Booked days in advance for a 30th birthday dinner to arrive to get a table that felt like what you would get if you didnt book.tried putting 6 people in a tiny corner where I would have thought if you reserved you would actualy get somewhere decent to sit. Ended up asking to move somewhere else to still be squished in to another table that was the same size and no room to move. People arrived after us with less people and were given a bigger table. Didnt make for much of a nice ambiance or time definitely didnt want to stay longer. All over not great experience or place to celebrate a big birthday unless you want to feel uncomfortable and no place to move

Good place to chill and drink and meet friends. Their cocktails are spectacular. Great customer service. The girl there didn't get her name she was very friendly and keep checking on us if we would to like to order anything else. Bar is next to main mt eden road, lots of parking around if you planning to go on Sunday.

Really sweet little wine garden, relaxing and pleasant, well patronized by locals.food available is very generous and well priced

Ordered scotch fillet, ribs and burgers. Surprisingly big portions. The fillet was just right. The smashed potatoes could be more sophisticated. Chips are amazing. Highly recommended!

We went on Monday eve, the service were really dull. The bald guy really pushed us to finish our table as he was in really hurry to close the bar as it wasn't mush of the traffic on this eve. Really sad.then we went to the POST and enjoyed the rest of our drinking time there. Would not be back at all.

Couldn't get the booking right, but did their best to rectify it. Service fine, but started packing up for the night while we were still eating, sort of, like hurry up and get out. Didn't get offered dessert menu. GO HOME.

We ordered take-out ribs and paid $32 ($29 dine-in) for a pathetic little box containing 6x baby ribs, a child's portion. Extremely expensive for very little food all round and I feel completely ripped off.

Ambience: 5/5 - I love the earthy green feel with the neon and fairy lights. Really adds character and mood to the atmosphere especially with their choice of music. Real good vibes!

Service: 6/5-The staff are always charming and sociable which I feel comfortable reciprocating, their recommendations are usually spot on. Shout out to Sarah who was a great server to us.

Drinks: 7/5-Oh my Jimmy! He’s my fave bartender in Auckland! I’ve had his drinks for close to 6 years and you literally can taste the years of experience. If he leaves I will literally follow him hahah.
I love his bees knees and passion fruit mojito - super bomb.
Ps team please bring back the old school fish bowls, they were next level amazing!
The ambience tied in with the amazing drinks equate to a good time always

Food: 5/5- Can’t fault anything I have tried as they aren’t constantly good! Shout out to Raj for making great Sunday rib! He truly rocks and the lamb tacos are really great. I find it helps to ask for what’s good to who ever is working as they’re usually right.

All in all I’m really happy with this place and it’s my go to for all sorts of occasions.

Wine selection limited use to be better, didnt appreciate barman over poured amout into glass then took it back! Not stylish

Best bar anywhere. Table service which is great- no lining up at the bar here! The staff are friendly, always remember my name and the atmosphere is light and fun.

Disappointing.we ordered the juicy Lucy burger and wow what a disappointment the cheese all fell out the second you pick the burger up, making the meat dry and hard to eat, I really think you should remove this from the menu.

However the croquets were outstanding I could eat these everyday, but the other sides we had were just really average, at a cost of $82 for two people this is quite steep.

We won’t be back as there are so many other options around that are much better

We were here for lunch. The place was completely empty as opposed to Circus Circus across the road, which was overflowing. Having patronised both I believe prices versus portion sizes would be the main reason.
We had the ribs and pappardelle pasta with beef ragu. The beef ragu was really just sliced roast beef? But the pasta was beautiful. The ribs were perfectly cooked and flavoured, and the coleslaw was designer!:) But considering the prices of $27-32, the portions were tight. 6 ribs for $32? Also, beware! They charge a dollar per box to takeaway leftovers, whats worse, never told us about it, just charged it.
We didn't have drinks, seemed pricey at $12 for a glass?

We really enjoyed this restaurant/pub it has a nice relaxed vibe with really original decor/menus. The food was great, there was a good beer selection and the service was really fast and friendly!

Nice food and cool setting but food is overpriced for what it is. Staff are friendly and helpful. The veggie burger is good!

Have been going here on and off for the past 9 years since was eden cloak room, but unfortunately, i think this will be my last visit. While the food was good, not amazing, service was a little lacking and other than a fumbling apology from the waiter who spilled a whole glass of wine over me, nothing else was offered for the inconvenience of wet pants (although they did assure me i wasn't charged for the wine he dropped over me!)
