The Blacksmith Eatery & Bar

We’re visiting from the States, this place was not that good, reminds us of a Chili’s back home.

Tonight we had a fantastic meal. Service was top notch and the food was absolutely stunning. It has been a while since I have been to The Blacksmith restaurant and was certainly worth the money I spent tonight. If ever asked where the best place to eat is, I'd say The Blacksmith hands down.
My Sisters both have fussy palettes but found the food was perfectly prepared and the portions were generous. See you next time, Marty

Pear salad was very nice, along with burger of the day. Good quick service of drinks and food.

Had their chicken ceaser salad & demolished it. Very big serving for lunch couldn't finish it but tasted amazing. Beautiful set-up, lots of space inside & lovely staff.

Gaming area also available on-site. Toilets are nice & changing table available for those with kids. There's also and upstairs section as well.

Went here for my brothers birthday dinner/ siblings catch up date. Staff were very lovely and food was so yummy my siblings and I demolished our plates lol

Ribs needed to be cooked longer in the oven. Could taste the boildness if that makes sense. (left in water too long.) Pasta was good

The service at The Blacksmith last night was disgusting. We waited 35 mins to have our order taken after we were seated. My daughter received her meal 15 mins before anyone else - including the other kids at the table! Once we got our meals nobody checked with us to see if our meals were ok - in fact they barely spoke to us at all! Had to ask 3 times for the kids desserts to be brought out and then when we got our bill they had to stuffed that up and overcharged us $45 that we had to sort before paying. The food was lovely though but due to the type of service we got we wont be back and I dont recommend this place as when we dined here 6 years ago we had a very similar experience with shocking service. So disappointed to see this hasnt changed.

Slow service. Desert takes forever to get to my partner.last time we waited over an hour for Desert after our meal. Nice food. I rate them 5/ 10.

I have enjoyed eating on the two occasions I have visited. Their menu has something for most people with generous portions. On both occasions I have had to leave with a doggy bag. Totally recommend The Blacksmith for a meal

Great food with a wide selection to food and drinks to choose from. A go to place for those who live by.

Waited 30 minutes for a waitress, ordered drinks and our Meals, after another 30 minutesr I went up to the bar and asked where they were. It took another 10 minutes for 1 beer and 2 waters to turn up, so about 1hour 10 minutes for a drink. Meals turned up 20minutes after that so probably 1 hr 30minutes. Meals were all very good its just a pity the organization was so poor, they were very busy but couldn't handle it. We seen at least others complain. Management contacted me after this review and were very concerned which I feel is great that they cared. I am sure things regards service will improve in the future. Give them a try.

This is our go to restaurant for my family. Love it here, starting from parking, always plenty. You don't have to park very far to get to the restaurant. The restaurant/bar is so inviting either it be in a quite setting upstairs or in the bar downstairs. The food is a alqays so delicious. I usually have lamb shanks and alway demolish the whole plate. No matter what we order were never dispointed.their platter and breads are yummy. Hardly ever have room for dessert. The hostess/staff are so.lovely and attentive. Great place to have any sort of gathering, whether it be the 50th bash or the 21st. Atmosphere is so relaxing.

Went there on the 19 June 2021 - The night started well and we spent quite a bit of money with the 3 Litre beer promo, every 3 Litres gets you a free pizza. This costed about $60 a round. After quite a few rounds plus ordering a tower and a few food items the quality got very poor. Attached photo is what is margarita pizza. Disappointed we told the staff about this who said the kitchen was closed but gave some wedges.all good.then the staff served us another two jugs of beer and came out only a few minutes to tell us that we had 2 minutes to finish our drinks because they are closed, asked if he meant 10 minutes and he said no two minutes and that is it you need to go. Why serve us another two jugs when you know you are closed? This is not the first time we have been here. This time was for my birthday, the blues game was also on and showing on the tv. After the game they showed the highlights and almost everyone that came to watch the game had left, we asked kindly if they could change the channel to a music channel and we were told no because they had a contract to screen the game.explained that the game finished over an hour ago and nobody was there to watch. They then screened the replay and refused to play any sort of music in the outside are even though it was just our party occupying the outside area. Everyone of my guest including myself feeling very under valued and disappointed that we came there to support the local bar and had to leave in that way. This was the first time after coming to the blacksmith a few other times that we have felt this way. Ended up leaving on the table the pizza attached, a few glasses of beer and the remainder of the jugs as we did not have the time to finish it after they sold it to us knowing that they were "closed"

Had a $5 side veges and curly fries when having few drinks with friends on Fri night (23/7/21) the portion was really good for the veges and fries were yummy.service was also friendly too

This restaurant is definitely one I'll come back to. They have a whole vegan menu available. Perfect for a family dinner or lunch dates! Atmosphere is viby and staff are friendly. Would recommend

The food is reasonable here, it was quite busy the night we dined here, food took a while to come out but the waitress waiting our tabkes was fantastic.

Good service and parking is a breeze nearby.
Portions generous and children's menu and gift pack a bonus - recommended

Only had a drink decided not to order food as it took over 15 minutes to get 2 ciders. Realize they had to change a keg but they weren't busy.
