Lamb shank was excellent and the banana creme Brule was outstanding. Very reasonably priced and excellent serving staff. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place, pity it doesn't have any Asahi, Peroni or Boundary Road range. Would have been an easy 5 stars then!

Had the full rack, good portion but ribs was not quite there. 3.8 so I would still recommend them. Good food for your $$$

Not a fan of this place. Have eaten here on alot of separate Occasions and everytime seems to be a big hit and miss. I try to give it the benefit of the doubt being a local. Just seems the staff are too overwhelmed on a really busy night food come out stoned cold, and if not so busy staff are too busy chatting with eachother to notice paying customers.

Nice food. Great range of meals available. Decent sized meals and pretty good prices. Friendly efficient staff. Clean. Gaming machines on-site. Disabled parking outside the door with a heavy door to maneuver through. Clean toilets.

A group of us had lunch, an my goodness the food was amazing, great portions, the service was amazing g an nothing was a bother. Thank you for a beautiful lunch, I had cajun prawnsspecial, an brulee for dessert oh my goodness yum yum yum. I definitely would come back when visiting from the Taranaki area.

Last year exactly one year ago my girlfriend and I had an amazing experience with their steak. Perfectly cooked. Tonight my "now fiance" and I had their half rack ribs. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend the Blacksmith.

Food was OK, but expensive but the service was terrible. Disinterested and distracted. As a family party of 20, we probably won't be back.

Meal was ok when I eventually got it after having to ask for it. Everyone else had received their food so by the time I had finished my meal had to bypass the desert. Although I got a free glass of wine

We had a booking of 20 people (6 of those were 2 and under) last night for a 22nd birthday and the service was absolutely amazing! We all made our orders once everyone was seated and maybe 10minutes later food was already arriving at the table, HOT and perfectly cooked! (Quite large servings too!) I cannot find a fault in the service we were given, the waitresses were lovely and so accomodating. Desserts were brilliant, large and we couldn't finish them haha. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning!

Atmosphere is ok but nothing amazing in food. We ordered a pork belly and it was too greasy and the side dish was tastes less.
Service there is uneven. Some waitress is smart and friendly some are impatient.
Hope this place can be as good as the GOOD HOME as we all living in area and kind of want to make this restaurant become our routine.

The Food was definatly worth the price! We had the steak and sticky ribs, both meals were presented well and tasted great. Staff were welcoming, and the wait time was minimal definitely recommend

The waiting staff where very friendly and welcoming however the meal was a big letdown
first the menu online didn't match the menu in the restaurant
then they got my wife's order wrong and when they tried to correct it even then it was wrong
for my order the veggies were cold and raw the greens were stringy and tastles so don't think we will return

Great local spot. Food was delicious
Only a slight con, we felt the surf and turf meal was quite small for $44 and the steak came out over cooked too. But apart from that the waiter was amazing and food was good. Kids portions are big. They even give the kids coulouring packs, which is always a bonus.

Awesome staff, fast service, delicious food, great atmosphere, clean conveniences, parking galore if you are early, very popular place we visited twice and will go again with family and friends *****

Great ambiance, customer service was wonderful, employees are always kind and caring. The food was lovely, the quality and quantity was worth purchasing the meals.

Always friendly service and a nice open space atmosphere. Decent food at a decent price and decent portion sizes. Good indoor and outdoor settings and a good quiz night.

Only come here if you like stale old chips, boiled meat and poor service. How disappointing.
