Went here for a small Christmas do. I enjoyed my food but wasn't impressed with the look of others meals. Lovely decor and friendly staff. I must say though I had the best kumera fries ever!

We ordered a wagyu burger and the spit roast of the day. The wagyu burger was tower high, and was very filling; however, the roast of the day was just alright. The cider is sourced locally, which is novel to us but it is very nice. The fried chicken is fantastic and highly recommended.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere was nice and spacious.

Atmosphere plus for this summer dining setting & staff were lovely. However, the dinner while delicious, was overpriced. The mushroom ricotta pansotti at $31.90 did not satisfy. With only six pieces of pasta, that worked out at $5 a piece. Won't be returning.

Beautiful place to eat with beautiful food. Fast service and friendly staff. We will definately be back. Ask to be seated out the back its stunning!

The Garden Shed is a pet-friendly place, which is great! They gave our dog a home made dog treat, which he loved. I would recommend it as a great place to get a drink and a snack, but not to eat a meal, unless you plan on doing multiple courses. The food was delicious but the portion sizes are very small - for a local bistro we expected the portion size to be bigger - the pasta dish has 5 pieces of pasta.

Stunning venue! The Garden Shed hosted our Xmas function for 30 people in their gorgeous garden courtyard. Service was brilliant from the prep through to end of the evening. Food was amazing and staff were just lovely! Thank you team, we'll be back for our third event soon!

Nice food with a decent variety although not a huge menu. Good sized portions. Pleasant staff. Prices perhaps on the higher side.

I arrived late afternoon as they were closing and at Level 3.2 could only be served at the entrance. I ordered a ham pineapple toastie (including cheese) and it was full of filling and tasty. The Summer Garden smoothie washed it down. The message on the packet was really nice and contained seeds and two peppermints!

Great coffee and good food, though disappointed in the portion size for the Breakfast Board. The cavelo nero on the eggs bene was interesting, it could use a bit of olive oil and salt to give it more flavour

Restaurant with beautiful backyard garden. Excellent food and hospitality. Would love to visit again

First time visiting this place last night for dinner with the girls (and children). Must say that the place was an absolute fairy tale! Decor was beautiful and children loved the outdoor but indoor setting!

Customer service was very pleasant and was helpful with the menu options!

Really cute place, loved sitting in the back amongst the plants. Dog friendly, nice waitress. Food good and plentiful.

Great decor, great service. Food was ordinary. A lot of it and nothing special in terms of taste or variety or presentation in my spit roast lamb dish. And not a cheap option. It's a fun venue, though and I think it had been full before our session and the kitchen staff may have been tired.

I've eaten here a few times in the last couple of months and each time the staff go out of there way to accomodate you. They are always very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and there are so many options to choose from, I'll definitely be back again soon!:)

Quite delicious. I had the slow cooked beef shin with potato puree. Oh my word. Delicious. Beef was sooooo soft. Sauce rich and gooey and so tasty.
What a great find in Mt Eden village.

Great food, almost the best chicken liver pate I've had, (only beaten by the first I ever tried and very barely), buttery smooth and delicious. Stuffed chicken was also very tasty and felt bad leaving half the dish uneaten but had already filled up on pate. Service was attentive and fast without being overbearing. The only thing to improve would be a gluten free dessert option but didn't matter to us tonight because even if there'd been an option we wouldn't have been able to fit it in. Thanks Garden Shed for a great meal.

Love this place! Have been here for brunch so many times, recently tried it for dinner when we had visitors, and it did not disappoint. The food was great, the atmosphere is great and the decor/set up for their outside space is so pretty. They have heaters in their outside section too so it’s not cold even in winter. The food was amazing, and service was okay too.

Service was attentive, nice ambience in the outdoor area, and the maple iced coffee is the best

Had a fabulous lunch there yesterday for my mother in laws 85th birthday.
Food was fabulous and they accommodated 11 of us easily.

We used to love coming here but the quality has decreased significantly. Service is terrible, we waited more than 20 minutes just to place the order and almost an hour for the food to arrive, which was cold and underwhelming. Staff messed our coffee order twice, bringing the wrong coffee and charging us for coffees that never arrived. We had to leave and get coffee in another place. Sadly is a beautiful place but not worth a visit, consider other places in the area.
